In this post, I shall review Doctor Fischer of Geneva or The Bomb Party , a novel by Graham Greene, an English novelist. Published in 1980,   Doctor Fischer of Geneva or The Bomb Party could be described as a psychological thriller. It was adapted to film in 1984, and was at that time the most expensive television film shot in Britain. I have not seen that adaptation, so my review today shall focus solely on the novel. I acquired the copy of this novel in a somewhat secret antique shop in Split (that is basically more of a basement with books, but it is very cool). Having read Green before, my expectations for this novel were high. Were my expectations met? You will find out soon enough. This was my second novel by this writer. A BLUE REVIEW OF TIGANA, A FANTASY NOVEL BY GUY GAVRIEL KAY

What kind of a review is a blue review? Well, as the colour would suggest, somewhat of  a  melancholic and sad one.  I would say appropriate for Tigana is somewhat of a sad and serene story. That's how I remember this fascinating fantasy novel by Guy Gavriel Kay. Published in 1990, this fantasy novel that explores identity and politics remains relevant for our times. The Winner of Aurora reward, this novel still has a lot to offer. As the Summer has just given way to Autumn, some of us might be in a somewhat blue, pensive, thoughtful and meditative mood. Simply perfect for a novel like this one. This transitional period is always an interesting one, and I do not just mean the often unpredictable weather forecast. In many ways, this transition between Summer and Autumn can be an inspirational and exciting one. When it comes to fashion and art, we might find inspiration in many ways. Kezzie is the organizer and you can find her blog  here .  As some of you already know, I'm blessed to own a lot of beautifully framed oil, watercolour and acrylic paintings. As a hobby artist myself, it gives me great pleasure to have so many paintings on my walls. I don't have a single poster in my home, it's all real art, my walls are all just: canvas after canvas!  My husband is very emotionally attached to my paintings (particularly to boat paintings) so he rarely lets me sell them.  Hello everyone! Happy Back to School! With the start of September, I always feel like a new year is starting. For us educators it means the beginning of A Brand New School Year! However, it is not a phenomenon that only students and educators experience. With the end of summer vacations and holidays, many are starting to gear up for work and embrace new projects. Seminars and conferences are being sold out, people are making gym appointments, taking on new hobbies and so on.  There is this atmosphere of a fresh start.  Whether you're returning to work or school, you can probably feel that 'back to school' atmosphere. I suppose in a way we are all students in the school of life. Every year is a new opportunity for learning. Hello everyone and h appy hump day!   How are you doing? I hope you had a lovely week so far. It's been a while since my last Inspired by post, hasn't it?
