It's time again for some of my fashion illustrations. As you can see, one of my biggest inspiration lately have been midi and maxi skirts. As colours go, I'm really fascinated with dark green.

Neke od mojih modnih ilustracija (opet). Kao što vidite u zadnje vrijeme me najviše nadahnuju duge suknje i one do ispod koljena. Što se tiče boja, fascinira me tamno zelena.

    Ja sam oduvijek bila ljubiteljica duzih suknjica i onih punoga kruga... nema ni nista zenstvenije :-) Sasila sam si jos davno par komada i to jos u tartan uzorku tako da ih definitivno vadim iz ormara ovu zimu :-)

Today I shall review The Island of Missing Trees by Elif Shafak. I was actually gifted this book. What a wonderful present it proved to be! Published in 2021, this postmodern  novel  follows two  story lines and uses framed narration.  The Island of Missing Trees  tells the life story of a Greek Turkish couple and their adolescent daughter.  This novel examines and explores a number of topics such as identity, migration, immigrant life, war trauma, memory, love and family. It's an ambitious novel that examines serious topics with due respect and sensitivity . I read it months ago, but I remember it vividly. Honestly, I cried a lot while reading this novel. It really moved me greatly. In fact, that is probably why it took me this long to finish this book review. Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! Thank you for your lovely comments on my last  Goranci outfit & travel post .  Spring is here, but I'm back with another cold weather outfit, beanie and all. The arrival of Spring rarely means that it's time to ditch the coats altogether. Transitional fashion often entails layers and coats. I live in the Mediterranean region and if we're still wearing coats, I imagine you are as well. No need to forget about layering just because Spring is here. I'll also take this opportunity to reflect on my Winter as well. With years I learned to love Winter, and I'm almost sad to let this season go. Almost. 10 STYLE LESSONS LEARNED FROM MALENA/ MONICA BELLUCCI

With summer being in full spring, I caught myself thinking about iconic summer outfits. Do you know what came to my mind? Costumes/outfits worn by Monica Belluci when she played Malena Scordia in an iconic Italian movie set on Sicily.  The costumes for that movie were designed by an acclaimed Italian costume designer Maurizio Millenotti and he outdone himself! Seeing that Malena is a historical movie, Maurizio choose quite timeless outfits and cuts that will ever go out of style. That fact makes Malena movie the perfect place to look for inspiration! Moreover, I feel that Monica Belluci's personal style is quite similar to Malena's (i.e. to the style of the character she is playing). VISIT GORANCI ( BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA) WITH IVANA!

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! In this post, we shall once again explore Goranci, a small village that is around 700 meters above sea level.  Located on a nearby hill in immediate vicinity of Mostar, and surrounded by mountain ranges, it offers stunning views. I have been a regular visitor for year and I never get tired of it. I absolutely love Goranci and I plan to remain a regular visitor. What is there not to love?  We went to Goranci for some weekend cold day hiking. You know how I feel about hiking and cold sunny days. There's nothing better! As long as the sun is shining and you dress warmly, hiking can be extremely enjoyable and comfortable even in the colder weather. It was quite cold that day. THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO 2024 MOVIE REVIEW

In this post, I'll share with you a review of  The Count of Monte Cristo.  I don't go to theatre/movies often. In fact, years have been known to pass without me seeing a film on the big screen. However, when I saw the poster for the new 2024  The Count of Monte Cristo movie, I knew I simply had to go. I really wanted to see this film, and I didn't even read the reviews or watch the trailer for it. I wasn't even intimidated by the fact it is a three hours long. Afterall, it's based on a rather long novel, so I didn't expect it to be short.  Now, I usually review books on my blog, not movies. However, perhaps this film review won't come as a surprise to you. I don't know if you have noticed, but I included a few Monte Cristo quotes in my last post .
