How to style a denim skirt with patches? Undoubtedly, there are many ways to do it, and today I'll present you with one of them. In my view, patches can make a denim skirt look even more urban, hip and youthful. If you are making the patches yourself or purchasing them with the intention of sewing them onto a denim skirt, pay attention to what kind of style you're after. It is worth noting that patches add additional texture and possibly colour  to the outfit. This is something you might want to keep in mind when styling your outfit. I think they're one of the most versatile clothing items out there. After all, there are so many ways one can wear dresses, aren't they? You can wear them over jeans or leggings. You can layer dresses one over another or tuck them in your skirts. I, for one, often wear dresses like that, by wearing a skirt over them. I just tucked a dress in my skirt, that way I'm can often be sure there are no 'lines' showing. Another plus of doing that is that you don't have to worry about wearing an under-dress. What are the clothing items that you associate with summer? In my case, it's printed dresses. Printed dresses are definitely my 'go to' outfit in summer. You just throw them on and you're ready to go. Printed dresses are quite easy to style. Moreover, with these kind of dresses, often the 'less is more' rule applies. Meaning that accessories are optional because the print creates enough visual interest on its own.  Naturally, you can wear all the accessories with them that you want, but it is entirely your personal choice.
