30+ OUTFIT IDEAS WITH A GRAPHIC T-SHIRT FOR SPRING & SUMMER

 My collection of graphic t-shirts is always growing. A graphic t-shirt is a great basic item. It can make a dressy outfit more casual. Moreover, graphic t-shirt can be perfect for when you want to make a statement but don't want to look like you're trying. Many of graphic t-shirts I have in my closet feature my art. Some are hand painted, some come from a local printer, some are from my redbubble shop and some are quite old (even vintage). No matter where they come from, graphic t-shirts are always fun to wear.  Some of my favourite outfits feature a graphic tee. How to style graphic t-shirts for spring and summer? Today I'll share five easy outfit formulas that can help you put together fabulous spring and summer outfits.  



FIVE EASY GRAPHIC T-SHIRT OUTFIT FORMULAS TO RELY ON IN SPRING & SUMMER- and to explain it better I'll be sharing 30+ spring &summer graphic t-shirts outfits I loved wearing. Scroll down to see them all!

1. GRAPHIC T-SHIRTS PAIRED WITH MINI SKIRTS/DRESSES/TUNICS

One of the easiest ways to wear graphic t-shirts for spring and summer is to pair them with mini skirts or dresses. In fact. I often pair my graphic t-shirts with mini skirts. Another fun way to wear them is over mini dresses. That way you can turn your dress into a skirt. Try it some time, it's fun.

2. GRAPHIC T-SHIRTS PAIRED WITH BELLOW THE KNEE SKIRTS OR DRESSES

Mini skirts aren't for everyone. Moreover, sometimes a longer skirt is more appropriate. I myself prefer the bellow the knee length most of the time. Pairing your graphic t-shirt with a bellow the knee or midi skirt (dress) can make you look incredibly chic and classy. 

3. GRAPHIC T-SHIRTS PAIRED WITH DENIM: JEANS OR DENIM SKIRTS

Graphic t-shirts are a match made in heaven with denim items. Be it jeans, denim shorts or a denim skirt, a graphic t-shirt will look great paired with them. A graphic t-shirts will look great with all kind of jeans. I find that darker jeans have more of a rock vibe to them, especially when paired with a graphic t-shirt. On the other hand, a pair of white jeans and a graphic t-shirt can look very fresh. When it comes to a blue denim skirt and a graphic t-shirt pairing, now that's a combination that always looks relevant.

4. GRAPHIC T-SHIRTS PAIRED WITH SUITS OR DRESSY PANTS

If you're going for a more elegant styling, then pairing your graphic t-shirt with a suit is the way to go. No matter whether it is a skirt and blazer or pants and blazer pairing, there is something very effortless chic about a graphic t-shirt paired with a tailored skirt. A dressier pair of trousers (suit pants or any tailored ones) will do really well with a graphic t-shirt as well. 


4. GRAPHIC T-SHIRTS PAIRED WITH LEGGINGS, CAPRIS, SHORTS OR TRACKSUITS/YOGA PANTS

For a more casual and relaxed vibe, pair you graphic t-shirt with leggings, capris, shorts or yoga pants. These kind of outfits can be perfect for those spring hikes or relaxing on the beach in summer.




5. GRAPHIC T-SHIRTS WORN WITH BLAZERS AND LIGHT JACKETS
Not all spring and summer days are super warm so sometimes you will need a light jacket or a blazer to keep warm. Now, you can use all of the ideas above- they will all work well with a blazer or a light jacket.

    I used to do graphic tees much more than I do now - they feel too casual for my current style, but that may change over time! I like them to have meaning to me, so most of them are either from my travels, or are concert tour shirts of bands I like.

Hello, there! In this post, I'll show you around Stobreč, a charming historical village that has become a tourist resort. Located between Split city and Podstrana , this little village is a wonderful destination for a stroll or a day at the beach. It's actually been inhabited since the ancient times.  Hello! In this post, I'll share a sustainable baby blue and leopard spring styling. A pale blue might not be the first choice with leopard, but why not? For me leopard print is sort of a classic. I actually love to pair it with all kinds of colours, from more vibrant ones to pales ones. In the past, I paired it with cobalt blue . I definitely do not feel that leopard should be worn only with neutral colours. I mean I paired leopard with white, grey and black clothing items often enough, but I love to pair it with something that pops, be it a coloured or pattern item. I do love patterns. OIL PASTELS VS. WATERCOLOUR PENCILS (SPLIT, FIRULE BEACH)

If you remember in my last posts I shared a seascape sketch with you. Today I will show you the completed version. I did complete this watercolour pencil sketch the same day I started it. There was also a version I made with oil pastels. In case anyone is wondering, I don't have these two with me anymore. I shipped some of my art to one (amateur) art gallery yesterday. The watercolour landscape I'm sharing with you today was among the paintings sent while the pastel version of this scene was sent to a friend.  Both of them were sketched on a lovely sunny day on Firule beach in Split (it has gotten colder in the meantime). Have I saved the best for last? I'll let you be the judge of that. This is my third and last post  (links for the  first one and the  second one ) from Peć Mlini and today I'll show you the spring of the river Tihaljina. This freshwater spring is absolutely beautiful. I was even fortunate enough to see a freshwater crab there, but unfortunately I don't know its scientific name. In vain I researched the internet, the name of this freshwater crab will remain a mystery to me. Nevertheless, it is another indication of how pure this water really is. Perfect place for a swim, my friends assured me! THE ISLAND OF THE MISSING TREES BY ELIF SHAFAK (BOOK REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATION)

Today I shall review The Island of Missing Trees by Elif Shafak. I was actually gifted this book. What a wonderful present it proved to be! Published in 2021, this postmodern  novel  follows two  story lines and uses framed narration.  The Island of Missing Trees  tells the life story of a Greek Turkish couple and their adolescent daughter.  This novel examines and explores a number of topics such as identity, migration, immigrant life, war trauma, memory, love and family. It's an ambitious novel that examines serious topics with due respect and sensitivity . I read it months ago, but I remember it vividly. Honestly, I cried a lot while reading this novel. It really moved me greatly. In fact, that is probably why it took me this long to finish this book review. I needed to emotionally process the story.   The Island of Missing Trees is   set in London and Cyprus. Sights to see, places to visit / Znamenitosti za vidjeti, mjesta za posjetiti -----Goranci

My Sights to see, places to visit feature would surely be missing something if I didn't include this little village Goranci in the list of places to visit. This charming little village is situated in the vicinity of Mostar.  I love to go there to espace the city heat.  If you are into cycling, you'd be happy to hear that you can rent a bike for free. You just need to leave your ID in the restaurant Goranci and you can take the bike. There is a wonderful cycling and pedestrian walk so be sure to check it out. As of recently, there is also a beautiful park at your disposal. This park is growing daily as new things are added to it(toys for kids and that sorts of stuff). If you look closely, you'll be able to see that some decorative trees are still being planted at the enterance to this park.  You can read some of my previous posts about this village here , here and here .
