Summer To Autumn Transition: Why Do We Like It So Much?

Autumn is a season that inspires many, and fashion world is no exception. I suppose there are many factors why Autumn is so popular with fashionistas. There is always that excitement about the start of something new. True, this is present when it comes to other seasons, but there seems to be something special about Autumn. Coming back to school vibes, the start of the new academic year, exciting fashion weeks and new work projects. It seems there is a lot to look forward to as Autumn arrives to our doorsteps. A lot of people welcome Autumn with sincere joy, and fashionistas are no exception. Have you ever noticed that? Have you wondered why that is so? 

Is it the fact that we feel refreshed by the summer? Is it because sun exposure gave us enough vitamin D? Is it because we're excited about coming back from our holidays?  Vacations are fun, but a lot of people feel honestly happy to be back to their daily lives. Is it about the fact that Autumn fashion is simply fun? It is easy to layer outfits in Autumn. We can get away with styling different things. When it comes to Summer to Autumn transition period, things can get especially interesting. We can still wear our summer dresses by pairing them with a pair of biker boots and tights.  We can rock summer jumpsuits by throwing on a biker jacket. Autumn is a great period to mix and match styles.

One thing I'm definitely looking forward to this Autumn is rocking some straw accessories. I feel like now while the days are still sunny, we can still get away with summery accessories. Anyhow, today besides my outfit of the day, I'm sharing a few picks from Luvye site with you. I quite like the black pair you can see above, and I think dark green is also a good choice for Autumn/Winter season. Nothing beats cute and comfy ankle in Autumn. Fun thing about Autumn fashion is that all you need to rock transitional outfits is to make little changes. If I were to thrown on a cute grey green cardi and ankle boots, this could be a winner Autumn look.

With Autumn transition in mind, and all that, I've also been on a look out for women's fashion tops. Lately for whatever reason, I've been feeling more attracted to dark and earthly colours. The same happened last Autumn, and I was surprised by it because I'm such a lover of bold colours. Still, I think that we are all influenced by the seasons. Autumn is all about a dark and rich palette, so why not get our inspiration from nature? I'm definitely starting to appreciate dark colours more.
