Inspired by Jessica from Not Jess Fashion (Fashion illustration: Watercolour)

Hi guys! Today it's time for my regular 'Inspired by' feature. That means I'm back with another fashion illustration of mine. But as you know, when it comes to this feature, it's not going to be just any kind of fashion illustration. It's going to be a fashion illustration inspired by a fashion blogger. Over the years, I've  illustrated so many fashion bloggers. I love fashion bloggers (big surprise!:)).  I've always maintain that when it comes to regular features on my blog, this is my favourite one. Perhaps because it allows me to join two things I love, fashion bloggers and my art.

This time I illustrated a blogger from Not Jess Fashion (you can visit her blog here). The medium is watercolour on paper. I added some finishing touches with coloured markers. I absolutely love this outfit. Well, I obviously love it since I illustrated it and all. I think it's feminine, beautiful and simply perfect for these transitional days. Great take on the ultra violet trend as well. Do check out Jessica's blog if you're looking for some inspiration. She has a fabulous sense of style. That would be all for today. Scroll down to see the 'making of' process. Have a lovely day everyone! Thank your for reading.

  7. I love that your illustration captures the basic shape, look of the design, colour, and flow of the fabric used in the couture worn by Jessica from Not Jess Fashion. I too love fashion bloggers. I can easily imagine your illustrations capturing your own ideas for fashion creations on paper, begging to be transformed from your artwork to into fashion designs. I think you make a brilliant fashion designer.
P.S. THANK YOU for your lovely comment on my blog post at http://www.full-brief-panties.blogspot.com/2017/10/lingerie-review-of-full-brief-panties.html

  13. Pooh this one's cool! I think this one is probably my favourite one, there's something different about the illustration that I really like. One day I will wear an outfit cute enough to wind up on your blog, I'm determined. Also you know my Crohn's which I was dealing with? Turns out I was actually pretty unwell so have been put on a bunch of medication which is fun. Any updates on your illness?

    1. thank you so much! I'd love to illustrate you some day.

In this post operation period I've only been taking Pentasa, but my symptoms are pretty bad. The doctors were planning to put me on Humira again, but now it seems they've changed their mind. Right now, I'm waiting for blood tests so I can have an appointment with my doctor to agree on new medications. She wants to put me on Imuran and stereoids again.

HOW TO WEAR THE SCARF TREND FOR SPRING? 4 BASIC WAYS

Are you ready to jump on board the scarf trend? My outfit proposal is all about the foulard. I matched my outfit with the colours of the foulard I was wearing, opting to wear a red blazer, a black pair of cord jeans and a blue turtleneck. It is a simple and comfy styling that made me feel quite chic. It is always good to have an outfit formula to fall back one for those days you don't have much time. One of the easiest ways to elongate your figure is by opting for a pair of high waist jeans and a cropped blazer (or jacket). If you wear a pair of heels with this combo, you'll appear even taller. Not saying that anyone should do that, but if you want to elongate your look, this is a simple and easy way to do it. Blazers and wide cut pants are always a chic combo, and a scarf will add something to every outfit.

TOP CROATIAN DESTINATIONS: TROGIR CITY (PART 1)

Time for me to cover another Croatian top destination: Trogir. Yes, today I'm taking you to Trogir city. Trogir has one of the best preserved Romanesque- Gothic complexes in Europe. The city can boost with numerous historical landmarks. It has a high concentration of historical churches, towers, structures and a fortress. Literally, every where you look, you'll be beholding history.
This charming historical city is located on a small island between Croatian coastline and island Čiovo. It is located only 27 kilometers from Split city. Moreover, it's only a five minute drive from the airport Split. In fact, airport Split is closer to Trogir then it is to Split city. If you're visiting this area or landing to Split airport, don't miss  the chance to visit this little city. You won't regret it, I promise. If you want to see how this place looks like in summer time, feel free to visit this Trogir travel post of mine.

What can I say about Trogir that I haven't s…

LAYERING A RED MIDI DRESS WITH RUFFLED SLEEVES FOR SPRING

Good evening lovelies! I've got a couple outfit proposals to share we you. The 'star' of this post is a red midi dress with statement sleeves  I bought last summer. I typically don't do impulse buys, but when I tried on this dress I knew it had to be mine. Have you ever heard of that rule that you shouldn't buy an item if you can't think of at least five ways to wear it? Well, that's a great rule but I decided this dress was worth the buy even if it wasn't the most versatile item. However, now it seems I can think of a five ways to wear it.  Where there is a will there is a way. When I tried this dress on again, I realized that I'll be able to layer it for spring. It needn't be only a summer dress.
1. WITH A VINTAGE HAND PAINTED BLAZER Romantic soul that I am, I simply can't resist a dress that has ruffles. This one has statement sleeves with both ruffles and tassels. It is precisely because of its ruffled statement sleeves that I doubted t…
