How to wear a ski jacket? (outfit post) / Kako nositi skijašku jaknu? (odjevna kombinacija)

Don't you just love those sunny winter day? What is there not to love? Another thing I love is- print mixing. A combo of checkered jacket and a striped bag...Now my print loving heart is content. I'll keep today's post shorter than usual- that would be all I have to say about this comfy winter outfit. Happy Epiphany! How do you celebrate it? Do you have any special traditions?  Happy Christmas Eve to those celebrating it today.

Zar jednostavno ne volite te sunčane zimske dane? Kako ih ne voljeti? Volim i nošenje različitih uzoraka.

  2. Ivana!!!!! Happy new year darling. I've missed this space. I'm all for sunny winter days and that's exactly what we had today even though the rains come down tomorrow and Sunday. Your bag is totally stunning and i love love how you styled the jacket. Great mix of prints. I am a big fan of that too much as I don't style prints nearly enough. You look so lovely.

I meni je ok kombiniranje uzoraka, i slaže ti se jakna s torbom (koja mi se posebno sviđa).
Ovdje došle prave hladnoće, prvo šetanje psa jutros na -11 C:)

  7. Nice jacket! I love the print!
Here in Spain, for Epiphany celebrate that the Three Kings visited Jesus and it's a tradition that they leave gifts to children that night (like Santa Claus) and that Eve, in the citys and villages, they do a parade where the Three Kings arrive in carriages and throw candy to the people that are there staring, but this year I didn't went to saw it, I prefered to stay at home because was cold and people are a bit crazy to catch the candy, and if I don't go there with any kid, I feel weird trying to catch the candy with the kids or just staring, so I was better in home, and next morning I gave my presents to my family ^^

  8. Your bagis really beautiful, dear Ivana, and I loved your jacket! I think you look great and it's a beautiful outfit for a winter day, but with sun. I like when it's cold and sunny! Kind of one of my favorite days! Epiphany was OK, these days I don't celebrate it very much, but I did, last year :) I took the day for reflection, mainly! Hope you have a very beautiful weekend!

Jedva cekam malo toplije dane da nabacim jednu ovakvu jaknicu :-)

READING UPDATE: PLAYER PIANO AND FAULT IN OUR STARS (BOOK REVIEWS)

Is anything as lovely as a sunny spring day? I missed reading outdoors, I can tell you that. Sitting on a bench on a nice spring day, with a nice book in one's lap, now that has to be one of the greatest pleasures in life. Speaking of reading, March has been a good reading month so far. As loyal I am to my favourite writers, I also love to discover new ones. I try to read at least one new author every month. This March I read two American authors for the first time: Kurt Vonnegut and John Green. Naturally I heard about them before. Both of them are quite well know, but this March marked my first introduction to these two. They are not the only 'new' writers I tried this month, but more about that some other time. Earlier this month, I read Kurt's Player Piano and Green's Fault in Our Stars. I liked Player Piano much more that Fault in Our Stars but I was kind of expecting that. I'm happy I read both, though. It is just that Kurt's writing is more my cup of…

CROATIAN DESTINATIONS: MAKARSKA CITY, THE MAIN CITY SQUARE

Hello my dear readers! Today I'm back with another post from Makarska city, a very popular coastal touristic destination in Croatia. If you remember, I went to Makarska on the first of March to visit a family member. I went back again last Friday (exactly a week ago) and the weather was dreamy. We had a great time, we sure did.  In this first photograph, you can see me standing in front of Franciscan monastery and church of Blessed Virgin. I will write a more about this monastery some other time, and today I'll show you a bit more of Makarska city itself and show some of its many attractions (like the main city square and the church of Saint Mark the Evangelist). If you haven't seen it yet, feel free to check out my recent post about Makarska. You can also check out this old Makarska travel post (dating to March, 2016). As you can see, I've been to Makarska a few times. Not nearly enough, if you ask me. It is a beautiful city and I think I even prefer it in spring sea…

JANUARY AND FEBRUARY HIGHLIGHTS

January and February have both been quite eventful months for me. A mix of good and the bad you might say, but all in all I can't complain. After ten long years I'm finally in remission, so that's amazing news. Fingers crossed things stay that way. I can't tell you how relived and happy I am to be in remission. I lost all hope of it (to tell you the truth) but then when I didn't even think about it, it happened. That's life, isn't it? You never know what the tomorrow might bring. Both good and the bad. I suppose that's the fun in living- not knowing. I know  it might seem a bit late, sharing January and February highlights as late as mid March, but I finally found some time to put this post together, so let's do it. Scroll down to see some of my January and February highlights.
