Split city and film festival / Grad Split i filmski festival

Did someone ask for more photographs of Split city? Here they come! I actually took all of these photographs  a while back (on this ferry ride to be precise).  Anyway, this post will be short. I just want to take this opportunity to inform you that today was the first day of Mediterreanen Film Festival Split. If you happen to find yourself  in Split between  03.06.2016 and 11.06.2016, keep it in mind See and read more information here. As I said, tonight was the openining night! I wasn't able to make it tonight but I plan to be there tomorrow.  Thank you for reading! You always warm my heart with your comments.

Uvijek me razveselite komentarima.

  3. What a breathtaking city Split is. I honestly can't stop looking at these images and loving how you take pride in your home. Your love for it is contagious for real. I just caught myself saying I love this place, LOL. I noticed the buildings are the same color for the most part. Is that the downtown area and is it mandatory? It reminds e of Santorini with all the blue and white buildings. Sounds like it'd be a fun festival. I hope you share some pictures with us Ivana. Have great fun there.

    1. It is a stunning city. This is the downtown area (city centre). The colour isn't mandatory but white seems to be the most often choice, not just in Split but in most Mediterranean cities. I think it has to be with the amount of sun we get, so it is primarily because of practical reasons.

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism.
