an ethno village to be ..../ etno selo koje će biti.... ( Sights to See, Places to Visit / Znamenitosti za vidjeti, Mjesta za posjetiti- Međugorje)

Does it make sense to make a post about an ethno village that still isn't open for business? By that I mean that it is still under construction. Moreover, I'm not even sure when you will actually be able to rent a room here. I'll let you know when I find out. That all being said, I love visiting this place. Perhaps because I'm a curious cat and I like to see what is new. Maybe because it is uncanny how much this village reminds me of all those little villages I love so much. I'm absolutely fascinated by just how well they managed to recreate everything. If I didn't know, I wouldn't have a problem believing that this is actually some really old village. So, if you find yourself at Međugorje any time soon (and since Međugorje is visited by millions of tourists every year who knows you might be one of them), take a half an hour and pay it a visit. It will not cost you anything and you can alway revisit it and stay there next time (hopefully, they will have finished it by then).

Ima li smisla pisati o etno selu koje još ne radi, a s time mislim da je još uvijek u izgradnji. Uz to, nisam uopće sigurna kada će zapravo biti moguće tu iznajmiti sobu. Javit ću vam ako saznam. No, unatoč tome volim posjećivati ovo mjesto. Možda zato jer sam radoznala i volim vidjeti što ima novo, a možda zato što me podsjeća na sva ona mala sela koja toliko volim. Jako me fascinira kako su sve uspjeli pogoditi.

  10. If you hadn't mentioned otherwise I'd definitely believe that this was an ancient village since it has the look of old world charm. Whatever it's status, I'm glad you picked this as a backdrop for your photos since there it provides so much visual interest. I do hope it will be open for business though. This would no doubt be a nice place to stay :)

  20. Hey Ivana! I really like that you're always showing us inspiring and magical places around you, they say in order to keep our creativity going in and going out we must discover something new every week (by something new I mean a town, a little village, a new coffee, a new store, etc.) I like to believe this is true and every corner can be a source of inspiration every moment!

Wish I could go there one time, actually I would like to explore all over the world! So if you want to come to Barcelona one day you're more than welcomed!

And talking about your OOTD, I really love it because it looks comfortable but is beyond chic and lovely. You look super happy and I must say smile is the best accessory on earth!

    Best regards, dear!
PS: I really appreciate every comment you leave on my blog, is super cool to find out people like you in this blogging world, you're really inspiring and creative, please don't stop making art! :)

  31. How cool! It is like looking back in time, they did a great job. We have a similar thing in our town from the frontier days in America. You can go there and tour the old town and they teach you how to make soap and candles and stuff like that. Like a Pinterest of the Past. And wow, dear, you and those leggings. I had a wonderful time enjoying each shot of them and then that first one in front of the door and it was all over ;) But I did return and took in the remainder of the shots, each one very wonderful! Happy Thursday to you, dear.

HOW TO STYLE AN OVERSIZED BEIGE SCARF: 2 OUTFIT PROPOSALS

Whether you're longing for spring to come asap or not, one thing is certain-  winter is not going  anywhere. The cold weather is not going to end up anytime soon, not in this part of the world. It's snowing in most of Europe and the weather is quite cold. What are we do to if not dress appropriately, and that means dress as warmly as possible? Not long ago I published a post about winter accessories that keep us warm. Today I'll be talking about one of them in particular and that would be the oversized scarf.  I've always loved big scarves and I have quite a few of them, some vintage, some I made myself. Lately, however it occurred to me that I should get one of those new trendy oversized ones, the kind that you can use as blanket. You know how much I love colour, right? Well, beige is no exception so I was happy to see it listed as one of the biggest trends this season. I picked up this beige oversized scarf for next to nothing in New Yorker. It's super cozy and …

HOW TO MAKE 3D FASHION ILLUSTRATION DRESSES WITH DRY FLOWERS?

Everyone knows that flowers make for a great prop, something very useful in these visual days. Moreover, in this time of social media, we are all looking for good photography props, aren't we? Bloggers, influences and what not, everyone wants to make their photographs pop. Flowers are a great way to do just that. Dried flowers are even better, because you don't have to worry about their expiry date. Dried flowers are also a great way to recycle (when you make your own) and preserve memories. I've been drying flowers for quite some time and there is really nothing to it. You can also buy dried flowers (or even fresh ones if you prefer). They are simply a perfect addition to flat lay photography.
Today I'll speak about creating 3D dresses on fashion illustrations. Now, you don't have to know how to do fashion illustration to try your hand at this. You can trace some of the fashion templates available online (be sure to make sure the author is o.k with that) or you c…

BEST BOOKS AND FAV WRITERS OF 2018

Writing this post took forever, and not just because I'm not exactly sure how many books I read in 2018. I did try to keep a track on goodreads but sometimes I forget to add books that I'm reading there. I'd say that I probably read around 80 books last year, give or take a dozen. I do love to read, as readers of my blog might already know or suspect. Here comes a list of my last year favourites. The list is written in no particular order. The links are not affiliated ( I tried to join Amazon affiliate program in the past but they rejected me saying that my blog doesn't have enough views so yeah it's all regular links). In cases of classics the books are linked to sites such as Project Gutenberg or Oxford University where you can find free copies. In case of modern works, I linked them up to my own blog posts (when relevant), Wikipedia or the authors' sites.

I had a pretty good reading year, I'd say. Some of the books I read I actually discovered in my ow…
