Deja vu (outfit post/ odjevna objava)

Deja vu. At this exact location in Split last Summer, we shot an outfit post with me wearing this moda in dress. I didn't plan it to happen but now it did, I find it amusing. Last time I paired this dress with sneakers and a denim vest. This time I paired it with a hat, wedges and a DIY necklace. Which version do you prefer? You can see the old outfit post here.

I loved shopping at Moda in (both for myself and others), but the store that was in my neighbourhood closed down and I can't track them down. They were a small low cost local bussiness, so maybe they didn't make it. I'm still looking out so if I find them again, I'll let you know. It is so hard to make it today in this world of mass production. I've tried starting a bussiness a few times and always I failed. C'est la vie.  To find peace, between the frequent disappointments and challanges of life, that is the art of living. Sometimes finding peace is not about finding success, but about knowing that you have tried your hardest.

Deja vu. Na ovoj istoj lokaciju u Splitu prošle godine, snimili smo odjevnu objavu u kojoj sam ja nosila ovu istu moda in haljinu.

  1. It Is not that easy to set up and run a business successfully, someone once said that there will be ups and downs but if one can withstand all that challenges then the business will too. Loving your outfit dear, ans have a great weekend.

  2. I like both versions! I don't know what I like better. Although right now, I'd probably go for the vest/sneakers for comfort :)

What kind of business did you start? I grew up in a family business, and they start/stop businesses all the time. Even when I try to get away from it, it's in my blood. I just have to have thick skin, keep my head up high, persevere, or reinvent when something fails... and I've failed and lost money on some things. I understand the feeling!

Life is not about happiness but instead finding joy in everything, even if it's something really small.

    2. I absolutely agree with you. It is important to know that failing is not some great tragedy because we can (and hopefully will) try again.

I didn't actually got to opening a bussiness, just tried...but I changed a number of jobs in my life (often because the company I would work for closed) and that made me less afraid of starting anew.

It's not easy starting from nothing but it isn't so terribly difficult either once our mindset is right.

  36. You look great in both version of the outfit.. but I'd always prefer (wedge) heels over sneakers. But that's just my silly preference! :-P

Since I'm a football fan.. as soon as I saw Hadjuk on the wall.. I knew it had to be in Split. :-D

If I may ask.. what kind of businesses did you start? And what are the most important lessons you've learned?
