Little grey dress (outfit post) / Siva haljinica (odjevna objava)

What to wear to a beach? This is my answer. I guess I'm just not a flip flops kind of girl. I always liked this little grey dress. I hand painted it last summer with textile paints but I'm thinking of making the print I painted a bit more visible. Or should I keep it more subtle? Decisions, decisions.... The photographs were taken despite on my way back home from the beach in Split city, Croatia.

Što nositi na plažu? Ovo je moj izbor. Valjda jednostavno nisam tip za japanke. Uvijek sam voljela ovu sivu haljinicu.

  1. Thank you, honey. After much thought, I decided not to have a normal necklace with my name, but I prefer a delegate, with the name of my blog. The idea came up and I think it worked very well. So Ive been with some of you.

Love your outfit!! Perfect bag :D

  5. Meni se baš sviđa što je crtež ovako suptilan, zbog nježne boje haljine :) Ja sam totalno tip za japanke, ili još bolje, za bose noge, čim se približim plaži, bacam sve sa sebe :)

  10. Cute little dress! Suits you perfectly! But as I like to wear brighter colours I guess I would have made that painting on the dress more visible. Or maybe not? Sometimes I prefer all-white looks...Just as you said "decisions, decisions" :)

It looks like perfect dress for the beach, I really like the color of it, you look so pretty in grey :) And personally if I were you, I would paint it more visible, because grey is perfect background for the prints :) Moreover, this beach looks stunning, I love your photos :) What's more, I see that there the weather in your country isn't as sunny as it usually should be in July, but I hope that will get better as soon as possible!

  27. I kind of like the light print. It may not pop out in photos as well, but I'm sure it looks better in person! Obvious contrast is good too. Whatever you feel makes you happy in that dress :) Heels on the beach.. that is brave! You look great.

  28. Kudos for wearing heels on the beach. I thought that was just a Russian thing. Much as I love heels I love the feeling of sand in between my toes and the freedom of chucking the cheap flip flops aside to run into the sea for a dip!
Love the painted dress and how lovely and long your legs look in it.
How pretty is that plant? Very tropical. xxx

TOP CROATIAN DESTINATIONS: TROGIR CITY (PART 1)

Time for me to cover another Croatian top destination: Trogir. Yes, today I'm taking you to Trogir city. Trogir has one of the best preserved Romanesque- Gothic complexes in Europe. The city can boost with numerous historical landmarks. It has a high concentration of historical churches, towers, structures and a fortress. Literally, every where you look, you'll be beholding history.
This charming historical city is located on a small island between Croatian coastline and island Čiovo. It is located only 27 kilometers from Split city. Moreover, it's only a five minute drive from the airport Split. In fact, airport Split is closer to Trogir then it is to Split city. If you're visiting this area or landing to Split airport, don't miss  the chance to visit this little city. You won't regret it, I promise. If you want to see how this place looks like in summer time, feel free to visit this Trogir travel post of mine.

CROATIAN FASHION WEEK: MATEYANEIRA FASHION ILLUSTRATION IN WATERCOLOUR

I can't really attend fashion weeks because I work full time, but with the help of the internet I get to follow fashion weeks digitally. One of the benefits of living in digital times, I guess. If you remember, I have already shared a number of fashion illustrations inspired by  spring/summer fashion weeks on this little blog of mine ( Valentino Spring Collection 20191 & 2, Zuhair Murad Spring Ready To Wear 2019 collection1 & 2Louis Vuitton Spring Collection 2019 ). Please don't click the links to buy the illustrations, they won't lead you anymore as my art store was lost and it will take me a while to manually remove all the links (I'll explain this later on in this post, for now let's concentrate on positive things like this cute new fashion painting I'll share with you and the design that inspired it).
I was a bit late with catching with Croatian fashion week because I've been busy with work. About a week or so ago, I finally found the time…

TROGIR CITY (PART TWO): KAMERLENGO CASTLE AND OTHER SIGHTS

KAMERLENGO CASTLE AND FORTRESS

As I promised in my last post, my description of  wonderful Trogir city continues. Today I'll show you the city's promenade, its walls and a historical fortress Kamerlengo. We'll start with the latter, as it is one of the main attractions. Castle and fortress Kamerlengo was designed and constructed in the fifteenth century by a local Croatian builder and sculptor known as Martin Radoj. Martin also worked on some of the Gothic elements of Trogir city cathedral and later on in life he was entrusted with the construction of Trogir port. The fortress was commissioned by the Republic of Venice, hence its name 'camelengo ' that is an Italian version of chamberlain. I didn't go inside of  Kamerlengo fortress this time because I've been there before so I just enjoyed observing it from the outside. Besides the Kamerlengo castle, today I'll also show you the city walls and other details from Trogir. Enjoy.

Once again, here is a li…
