One colourful dress is all I need (outfit post)/ jedna šarena haljina je sve što mi treba (odjevna objava)

Lots of outfits didn't make the cut in May because I have been so obsessed with DIY projects, but there are some that I want to share despite the fact the photographs themselves were taken with a smart phone(because the cam isn't always at hand), so I'll just go ahead with it if you don't mind;) I've also thrown in a bit of my photography, because this city is so amazingly photogenic and I can never get enough of it.

scarf (in my hair) avon, white blazer: vintage, dress: no name, shoes: Peko, bag: second hand

rubac u kosi: avon, haljina: nije markirana, bijeli sako: vintage, torba: second hand, cipele: peko

what's in the box? a new pair of stilettos that will be shown soon;)

An exhibition of lesser known Dalmatian painters- very interesting

First things first. This lovely colourful dress was a gift from my significant other. I wasn't crazy about it but it has grown on me. Previously featured on blog here where I have styled it with a hand painted shirt and that infamous yellow bag.

Another item I liked in this outfit of mine is this vintage white blazer, a gift from  a family member. truth be told it's much too big for me, but lately I've been into oversize clothes so I don't mind.  I'm prepared to wear clothes that doesn't fit but only if it is vintage, which in my case usually means a gift from some family member. It was previously featured on the blog here.

  6. The city is so photogenic, indeed. I do love scrolling down the photographs which you take, it's always interesting to see the world around you with your eyes:) I'm visiting exhibitions from time to time too, but in my city it's ban to take pictures in most of museums, and even use cell phones. I have no idea why, but believe me, it's so:)
I also like the way you look, that bright, radiant dress suits you nicely, and what is the most important thing that you feel so comfortable in it. I don't know how about you, I always feel myself much more confident when I'm wearing something what appeals to my heart a lot.

    1. yes, I feel much more confident when I'm wearing something I genuinely like. The same goes for seeing beautiful things.. just seeing them usually makes me feel better. Whether it is churches, buildings or ancient ruins, beautiful structures always inspire me.

TOP CROATIAN DESTINATIONS: TROGIR CITY (PART 1)

Time for me to cover another Croatian top destination: Trogir. Yes, today I'm taking you to Trogir city. Trogir has one of the best preserved Romanesque- Gothic complexes in Europe. The city can boost with numerous historical landmarks. It has a high concentration of historical churches, towers, structures and a fortress. Literally, every where you look, you'll be beholding history.
This charming historical city is located on a small island between Croatian coastline and island Čiovo. It is located only 27 kilometers from Split city. Moreover, it's only a five minute drive from the airport Split. In fact, airport Split is closer to Trogir then it is to Split city. If you're visiting this area or landing to Split airport, don't miss  the chance to visit this little city. You won't regret it, I promise. If you want to see how this place looks like in summer time, feel free to visit this Trogir travel post of mine.

CROATIAN FASHION WEEK: MATEYANEIRA FASHION ILLUSTRATION IN WATERCOLOUR

I can't really attend fashion weeks because I work full time, but with the help of the internet I get to follow fashion weeks digitally. One of the benefits of living in digital times, I guess. If you remember, I have already shared a number of fashion illustrations inspired by  spring/summer fashion weeks on this little blog of mine ( Valentino Spring Collection 20191 & 2, Zuhair Murad Spring Ready To Wear 2019 collection1 & 2Louis Vuitton Spring Collection 2019 ). Please don't click the links to buy the illustrations, they won't lead you anymore as my art store was lost and it will take me a while to manually remove all the links (I'll explain this later on in this post, for now let's concentrate on positive things like this cute new fashion painting I'll share with you and the design that inspired it).
I was a bit late with catching with Croatian fashion week because I've been busy with work. About a week or so ago, I finally found the time…

TROGIR CITY (PART TWO): KAMERLENGO CASTLE AND OTHER SIGHTS

KAMERLENGO CASTLE AND FORTRESS

As I promised in my last post, my description of  wonderful Trogir city continues. Today I'll show you the city's promenade, its walls and a historical fortress Kamerlengo. We'll start with the latter, as it is one of the main attractions. Castle and fortress Kamerlengo was designed and constructed in the fifteenth century by a local Croatian builder and sculptor known as Martin Radoj. Martin also worked on some of the Gothic elements of Trogir city cathedral and later on in life he was entrusted with the construction of Trogir port. The fortress was commissioned by the Republic of Venice, hence its name 'camelengo ' that is an Italian version of chamberlain. I didn't go inside of  Kamerlengo fortress this time because I've been there before so I just enjoyed observing it from the outside. Besides the Kamerlengo castle, today I'll also show you the city walls and other details from Trogir. Enjoy.

Once again, here is a li…
