I bought these adorable shoes from a woman who makes them here in Mostar. They look like miniature converse, don't they? I think they're the perfect present. Have a great start of the week !
Ove preslatke cipelice kupila sam na lokalnom štandu u Mostaru od žene koja ih plete. Izgledaju kao male starke, zar ne? Mislim da su odličan poklon. Želim vam ugodan početak tjedna!
Too cute! For an instant, I thought you made these. I use to crochet a lot & made these cute booties too, but it has been years since I touched those needles.....
You're not joking about cuteness overload, Ivana, that little pair of booties is just too cute. Is this a sign or clue that a little one might be an addition to your family soon? xx
All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.
Today I shall review The Island of Missing Trees by Elif Shafak. I was actually gifted this book. What a wonderful present it proved to be! Published in 2021, this postmodern novel follows two story lines and uses framed narration. The Island of Missing Trees tells the life story of a Greek Turkish couple and their adolescent daughter. This novel examines and explores a number of topics such as identity, migration, immigrant life, war trauma, memory, love and family. It's an ambitious novel that examines serious topics with due respect and sensitivity . I read it months ago, but I remember it vividly. Honestly, I cried a lot while reading this novel. It really moved me greatly. In fact, that is probably why it took me this long to finish this book review. I needed to emotionally process the story. The Island of Missing Trees is set in London and Cyprus. The narration isn't chronological . The story jumps back and forth, following ...
With summer being in full spring, I caught myself thinking about iconic summer outfits. Do you know what came to my mind? Costumes/outfits worn by Monica Belluci when she played Malena Scordia in an iconic Italian movie set on Sicily. The costumes for that movie were designed by an acclaimed Italian costume designer Maurizio Millenotti and he outdone himself! Seeing that Malena is a historical movie, Maurizio choose quite timeless outfits and cuts that will ever go out of style. That fact makes Malena movie the perfect place to look for inspiration! Moreover, I feel that Monica Belluci's personal style is quite similar to Malena's (i.e. to the style of the character she is playing). There is definitely a Mediterranean lady feel about Malena/Monica Bellucci. What says summer better than Mediterranean and Sicily? Today we'll analyze Malena's style and see what we can learn from her. There is much to learn! Having analyzed looks that Monica wore in iconic Malena film, I...
Hello dear readers! Ever beautiful and elegant, Monica Bellucci remains a style inspiration. Today we'll be hacking Monica Bellucci's style secrets. This gorgeous lady can teach us a lot about style and beauty! Monica Bellucci is an Italian actress loved by many designers, including D&G duo and Dior. She is known for having a very feminine style of dressing. One could definitely call her a style icon. So, why not analyze her style? In this post, we will start with identifying the key items in Monica's closet and then we are going to examine them. Finally, we'll hack her style secrets. I already wrote a bit about her style when I analyzed Malena's (character played by Monica Bellucci) wardrobe . The reasons why I have decided to write about her again is because of her timelessly elegant and chic style. I happen to think Monica Bellucci has a very classical style of dressing that is quite ageless and universally flattering. In fact, you probably already have ...
Mostar is the second largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina, second only to Sarajevo. Being the the largest city in the Herzegovina region, Mostar is the natural business, administrative, cultural, educational and tourist centre of the Herzegovina region. Many people visit this beautiful city for a variety of river. Besides being absolutely stunning, Mostar is also know for record high temperatures in the summertime. Hence, you should pay special attention to the clothes you're wearing when visiting Mostar, especially if you're venturing outside in daylight or when the sun is still strong. Today I'll show you some outfit tips for visiting Mostar city in Summer. Let's get started! WEARING: A VINTAGE WHITE BLOUSE , DIY NECKLACE, AN OLIVE PENCIL SKIRT (NO NAME) AND A PAIR OF DRIVING LOAFERS I've blogged about Mostar many times on my post. KRAVICA WATERFALL I will never forget visiting Kravice waterfalls for the first time. It was an absolutely magical experience. The Kravica waterfall is sometimes described as a pearl of Herzegovina. It's also called oasis in stone. One can think of many names for it, but the best thing is to go there and see for itself. It's definitely one of the great beautifies of the Herzegovinian landscape. Where can you find this stunning natural waterfall? It's located on the Trebizat River, 7 km away from Ljubuski. This place of beauty was created by the Trebizat River! Science proved that life on Earth originated in the sea but in our hearts we must have always felt it. Why otherwise would we feel so inspired by the sea? Who of us has not felt his or her heart opening up while mesmerized by the deep blueness of sea? Is it an echo of an oceanic birth of life? Is it our soul that wanders enchanted towards that greatest mystery? We feel the song of the sea, even when we don't understand it. A SELECTION OF CROATIAN POETRY RIKARD KATALINIĆ JERETOV 1869-1954 Born in Volosko (Istria, Croatia), died in Split.
