Un cropped top....Alucni dicono che è un must have per l'estate. Che ne dici?

Today I'm sharing with you three illustrations. What they all have in common is a cropped top. Some say that  a cropped top is a must have for the summer. What do you think?

  1. Belli entrambi specialmente il secondo!

  5. love the style of your hand painting.

  6. davvero mooooolto belli!
    buon week end!

  7. Veoma dopadljiv stil crtanja, baš mi se dopada! :)

  8. Very cute drawings and crop tops have been forever. I think they are really cute on those who wear them well. Great job!

  9. really nice illustrations!Love the crop top!

  10. Brava Ivana, ottime ispirazioni. Lucy

  11. I want to do fashion illustrations too, I just don't know where to start.

    / Avy

    1. best thing is to take a piece of paper and just try drawing...that's what always worked for me anyhow.

  13. I'm never wearing cropped tops, I'm too modest and shy for that. At the same time I think it's really nice when a girl has nice figure and may allow herself to wear something like that, why not:D
I do like those sketches! Well done Ivana:)

  14. Cropped tops is something one need to have in wardrobe! I just recently have felt what it feels like to wear one, as in your drawings, I'm sure that crop-top goes well with high-waist skirts or pants, it's pretty comfy besides that. Love your sketches <3 Keep up the good work!

  15. Very nice work,
following your lovely blog on GFC now :)

  16. Fabulous illustrations. I always love your job <3

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism.

My fashion illustration of the day + book review / Moja modna ilustracija dana + ogled knjige ( Le Diable au corps) 6.12.2016

This morning I read an amazing novel. Le Diable au corps (translated as The Devil In the Flesh) is a novel by Raymond Radiquet. Believe it or not, this was by first book by this French writer. I don't think I even heard of him before, which is odd, but well, it happens. In his time, Raymond was quite a celebrity and he is still considered as one of the important French writers of that period. Did I like this novel? Quite frankly, I loved it. I just couldn't put this novel down. I must have read it an hour or so. I got up a bit more earlier this morning so I actually had time to read it with my morning coffee (it is not a very long novel but still it is amazing how easy it was to find one's self glued to those pages). Perhaps I should make it a habit, getting up more early so I can read more.

Fashion illustrations of the day (markers)

Hello darlings! How are you? Can you believe that February ends today? This month has just flown by. I know it's the shortest month in the year but still. Today I'm going to share 3 fashion illustrations and sketches with you. The medium for all of them is marker on paper. I don't work with markers that often, but sometimes it is good to try something different. The fashion sketches I'm sharing are all about 3 colours: purple, green and red. Spring is in the air, so this is my reflection on all those trends for the new season. The first illustration shows a girl wearing a purple and blue jumpsuit. The second illustration features a girl wearing a transparent green dress with a top and a skirt under that dress. The third illustration shows two girls in red gowns.

February Recap (art & DIY projects & outfits)

I've put a lot of effort into blogging this February, I hope it shows. As far as the content goes, February was similar to January, mostly a mix of my illustrations and outfit posts (here). This month I was full of positing ideas and I managed to make many of them happen. I feel pretty good about that. The only thing I feel bad about is making my blog monolingual and not using my other languages, but translating texts from English to other languages takes such a long time. It is so much easier to just write in English.  Hopefully, I'll manage to change that and make my blog multilingual again. I need to organize my time better. Fingers crossed. For March I already have a few posts prepared. You can expect more art (mostly fashion illustrations) & outfit posts.

I shared two DIY projects in February, one about making a Barbie dress, the other was about how to paint a plant container. I don't have any DIY projects prepared for March, but I'm sure that I…
