fairies inspire me in many ways,  guess that is what happens to those raised on Ivana Brlić Mažuranić's works.  / Vile me uvijek nadahnjuju, valjda se to događa onima koji su se odgojili na djelima Ivane Brlić Mažuranić.
cropped shirt/ kraća košulja and floral print skirt ( I prefer to wear cropped tops (or like in this case shirt) with high rise pants/skirts. Odrezane ili kraće majice/ košulje draže mi je nositi sa hlačama ili suknjom visokog struka)

my flowers (that seems to match the colour of my skirt)/ moje cvijeće (koje se nekako slaže s mojom suknjom)

shirt: vintage, skirt: vintage, shoes: Peko, bag: no name, sunnies:DM

I don't plan outfits posts anymore but if it happens that I do end up with some pics, I'll post them.  I love this floral skirt, it's vintage ( I love all things vintage) and I got it from my aunt. Originally it came with a matching blouse that I wear quite often actually. However, for this particular outfit I've paired it with a cropped white shirt. I must say really like the result.
*Like the photos for the last outfit post, these shots were taken with a mobile sometime last month.

  29. Vintage AND from a family member - that's the perfect provenance for this pretty skirt. I'm always happy when it's warm enough to wear a crisp white blouse tied at the front as yours is here too. So summery.

THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ BY L.FRANK BAUM (BOOK REVIEW)

Today I'll review a true classic of children's literature: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, a book by L. Frank Baum. I have read this book fairly recently, so it is still fresh in my mind. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. I actually enjoyed it a lot, so my book review is also  a book recommendation.  This classic of children literature is such a well rounded tale. You can read The  Wonderful Wizard of Oz for free on the pages of project Gutenberg here (that's also the source for the quotes I'm going to use).

First, a few words from the author himself:  Folklore, legends, myths and fairy tales have followed childhood through the ages, for every healthy youngster has a wholesome and instinctive love for stories fantastic, marvelous and manifestly unreal. The winged fairies of Grimm and Andersen have brought more happiness to childish hearts than all other human creations.Yet the old time fairy tale, having served for generations, m…

STYLING A PLEATED SKIRT FOR COLD WEATHER + READING UPDATE

Pleated items are very in right now. Every fashionista who likes this material is probably over the moon about that and even those who don't follow trends must be satisfied when a material they like becomes more available. I'm quite happy because I do appreciate the way pleat adds texture to our outfits. This expensive looking trend can be surprisingly affordable, especially if you're good at shopping second hand or just finding good discounts. Pleated items are simply perfectly for creating romantic, elegant and even whimsical outfits.  Pleat can even make old school glam seem easy!
Pleated items come in many shapes and form. I personally have a shirt I adore. However, perhaps the most practical incarnation of the pleated trend (for us ladies that is) would be the pleated skirt. A pleated maxi or midi skirt is such an easy way to add some femininity, texture and chic into your wardrobe. Today I'll show you how to style a beige pleated skirt for cold weather. Now, thi…

KAFKA ON THE SHORE, A NOVEL BY HARUKI MURAKAMI (BOOK REVIEW & OUTFIT PROPOSAL)

Hello, my darlings! I will be sharing two things with you today: a book review and an outfit post. This cozy outfit proposal features two printed items: a printed scarf and a skirt. The bluish scarf was a gift from a friend and I like how it looks with this camel coat (another gifted item). The wool/silk printed skirt is old, a creation from fashion house Edi. You had a change of seeing this unique floral print on the blog here , here and here. Under the camel coat I have worn this white blouse and this red blazer.  I completed the outfit with a red beanie and high brown boots.  It has gotten colder in Croatia even on the shore. Speaking of the shore, Kafka on the Shore is the novel I will be reviewing today.
MURAKAMI, A WRITER THAT REMINDS ME OF A CAT
Murakami is a writer whom most readers either love or dislike. Options are rather divided when it comes to Murakami, some say he is genius, other claim all his novels are alike. Do you know of whom does Murakami reminds me? Of a cat! He…
