DIY (white jacket decorated with textile paint) - ukrašavanje bijele jakne bojom za tekstil

Here is another DIY project. This little jacket should come in handy this spring...and with this tree that I have pained on, I like it even more.

VISIT STOLAC FORTRESS WITH ME! MEDIEVAL FAIR STOLAČKA TARČA, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Last Saturday I visited Stolac city in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the second time. What was the reason for my visit? A medieval fair called Tarča. This was my second visit to this lovely historical city located in Herzegovina. If you remember, I visited it and  blogged about it last year ( feel free to check these two posts to find out more: MEDIEVAL FAIR IN STOLAC, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA & STOLAC MEDIEVAL FAIR PART TWO). We were fortunate as far as the weather was concerned. Unexpectedly, the weather improved this Saturday (but not for long). Still, it made our visit nicer. The day of our visit was just as lovely and sunny as last year.
This year, however, we were too early for the medieval fair itself. We arrived to the city in the morning, and it was only then that we found out that the fair starts at five p.m. We strolled around the city for a bit, so we still enjoyed our stay. In addition, we did visit the fortress where the fair takes place, but since the program was schedul…

HOW TO STYLE A YELLOW BLAZER WITH DAD SNEAKERS FOR SPRING?

My outfit proposal of the day is a casual one. I feel that not too long ago a blazer worn with jeans wouldn't have been exactly my first choice, especially paired with dad's sneakers, but times are changing. One of fun things about trends is that they can make you step outside of your comfort zone a little bit. Obviously, we shouldn't follow trends just for the sake of following them, but often they can give us inspiration. I certainly like to look at them that way, as a source of inspiration. Fashion moves in circles, so playing up with trends doesn't really have to cost anything, especially if you have already mastered shopping your own closet. The athletic sneaker trend is certainly a tempting one. It's hard to say not to the comfy sneakers trend, especially when you enjoy hiking and strolling around as much as I do. Most people do have an ugly sneaker in their closet. It is possibly the most comfortable option out there, so why not try styling it for every day…

VISIT STOLAC CITY WITH ME! HERZEGOVINA IN SPRING TIME

My last post was all about Stolac fortress and the medieval fair that is held there annually. This post is going to be about Stolac city itself. Stolac is located at the far east of region Herzegovina and it is a part of a touristic route. If you're visiting Herzegovina, do stop by this place as well. If you ask me, Bosnia and Herzegovina is still an underrated destination. It has a lot to offer, especially in terms of history, natural beauty and cuisine. Since I moved to Bosnia and Herzegovina, I've discovered many lovely places here and Stolac is definitely one of them.
STOLAC,  AN UNESCO PROTECTED CITY WORTH A VISIT
The area surrounding the present day Stolac city has been populated since prehistorical times, which only makes sense, given the natural beauty and the climate benefits of this location. 3, 500 year old material evidence of urban life were found here, so that says something of the kind of urban tradition this place can boast of. Through its rich history, many hav…
