rain (fashion illustrations)/ kiša (modne ilustracije)

Why in God's name they ask me about you?   Ma kog me Boga za tebe pitaju
I pray that my tears won't betray me                    Molim se da me suze ne izdaju
and I bloody hate Romeo and Juliet                      i strašno mrzim Romea i Juliju
everything smells of deceit now                             sve mi smrdi sad na prevaru

Outside the cold rain is falling                            Na polju hladne kiše padaju
falling...                                                                padaju....

    Keep in touch!

  2. Rain is falling but you're always a ray of sun. My sweet friend.. I want to see soon your own fashion show!! <3 <3 Kisses with love and a great sunday!

  3. Strašno volim tu pjesmu, iako me uvijek rastuži :)

    1. i mene...tako mi je skoro sa svakom pjesmom od prljavaca.

  4. Amazing illustrations , good.

Follow each other on gfc , just let me know :)

  5. Great designs for rainy weather. Now, if you can just design a stylish umbrella that doesn't blow inside out in the wind and a rainproof cape to wear when cycling that doesn't look like an inflated parachute, I'll be first on the list to put in an order!

    1. to design is one thing, to make another...but I do wish I could make a stylish umbrella that is anyg ood, so far I have stuck with plain umbrellas that work but haven't managed to find a nice one that does its job properly. Waterproof cape...those are also never chic, right? Why is that? Would it be so hard to make one that looks decent?

  6. Your illustrations are always beautiful ! How are you beauty ? Have a lovely week :)

    1. I'm fine sweetie, thanks for asking:)

  7. Oh, those illustrations are so original, I definitely feel your mood and state of mind. And those lyrics are so appropriate. I love to listen new foreign music, its always so interesting to immerse into other culture and vision of the world.

  8. I love those verses.... Have a nice week!

  9. You are very talented Ivana.. I am still stuck at my stick men era ;)

  10. Odlicne su ti ilustracije! Razvijaj to i dalje. Ja recimo obozavam Bellu Pilar, mislim da sam ti to i rekla. Pogledaj kako su joj divni crtezi. Ja taj talenat, na zalost, nimalo nemam ali zato na komputeru mogu da ti nacrtam sta god hoces

  11. Čak si i kišu predstavila na lep način :) Jako mi se dopada...

  12. Nice illustrations! :D

  13. Belle illustrazioni e canzone intensa!

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.

My fashion illustration of the day + book review / Moja modna ilustracija dana + ogled knjige ( Le Diable au corps) 6.12.2016

This morning I read an amazing novel. Le Diable au corps (translated as The Devil In the Flesh) is a novel by Raymond Radiquet. Believe it or not, this was by first book by this French writer. I don't think I even heard of him before, which is odd, but well, it happens. In his time, Raymond was quite a celebrity and he is still considered as one of the important French writers of that period. Did I like this novel? Quite frankly, I loved it. I just couldn't put this novel down. I must have read it an hour or so. I got up a bit more earlier this morning so I actually had time to read it with my morning coffee (it is not a very long novel but still it is amazing how easy it was to find one's self glued to those pages). Perhaps I should make it a habit, getting up more early so I can read more.
Jutros sam pročitala divan roman. Đavo u tijelu  (naslov izvornika Le Diable au corps) je roman Raymonda Radiqueta. Vjerovali ili ne, ovo je moj prvi roman ovoga pisca. Mislim da nika…

Fashion illustrations of the day (markers)

Hello darlings! How are you? Can you believe that February ends today? This month has just flown by. I know it's the shortest month in the year but still. Today I'm going to share 3 fashion illustrations and sketches with you. The medium for all of them is marker on paper. I don't work with markers that often, but sometimes it is good to try something different. The fashion sketches I'm sharing are all about 3 colours: purple, green and red. Spring is in the air, so this is my reflection on all those trends for the new season. The first illustration shows a girl wearing a purple and blue jumpsuit. The second illustration features a girl wearing a transparent green dress with a top and a skirt under that dress. The third illustration shows two girls in red gowns.

February Recap (art & DIY projects & outfits)

I've put a lot of effort into blogging this February, I hope it shows. As far as the content goes, February was similar to January, mostly a mix of my illustrations and outfit posts (here). This month I was full of positing ideas and I managed to make many of them happen. I feel pretty good about that. The only thing I feel bad about is making my blog monolingual and not using my other languages, but translating texts from English to other languages takes such a long time. It is so much easier to just write in English.  Hopefully, I'll manage to change that and make my blog multilingual again. I need to organize my time better. Fingers crossed. For March I already have a few posts prepared. You can expect more art (mostly fashion illustrations) & outfit posts.

I shared two DIY projects in February, one about making a Barbie dress, the other was about how to paint a plant container. I don't have any DIY projects prepared for March, but I'm sure that I…
