DIY (earrings/ naušnice)

One of the tools that I  use most often for the DIY is believe it or not: nail-polish. There are many things it can be used for, as I will demonstrate with future posts, but the most important thing is that now you don't have to feel guilty about not spending all the nail-polishes that you have. DIY is always twice the fun when it includes  recycling,  isn't it? 

Jedan od alata koji najčešće koristim za uradi sam projekte je vjerovali li ne : lak za nokte. Za puno toga se može koristiti, kao što ću pokazati u budućim postovima, ali najvažnije je da se više ne morate osjećati krivim zato što niste potrošili sve lakove za nokte koje imate. Uradi sam stvari su najbolje kad uključuju recikliranje, zar ne?

A BLUE REVIEW OF TIGANA, A FANTASY NOVEL BY GUY GAVRIEL KAY

What kind of a review is a blue review? Well, as the colour would suggest, somewhat of  a  melancholic and sad one.  I would say appropriate for Tigana is somewhat of a sad and serene story. That's how I remember this fascinating fantasy novel by Guy Gavriel Kay. Published in 1990, this fantasy novel that explores identity and politics remains relevant for our times. The Winner of Aurora reward, this novel still has a lot to offer. As the Summer has just given way to Autumn, some of us might be in a somewhat blue, pensive, thoughtful and meditative mood. Simply perfect for a novel like this one. This transitional period is always an interesting one, and I do not just mean the often unpredictable weather forecast. Two ways to wear a scarf. Nothing revolutionary. If you want more inspiration, you will have to click this old  post  of mine. The first suggestion I'm trowing your way is just tieing a scarf in a bow. Nice, simple and bound to give every outfit a feminine touch. Do you agree? The other way is to secure a scarf with a belt. You must have took notice of  'belted scarf' trend last year. I think we will be seeing it in the upcoming Autumn and Winter season as well. 10 STYLE LESSONS LEARNED FROM MALENA/ MONICA BELLUCCI

With summer being in full spring, I caught myself thinking about iconic summer outfits. Do you know what came to my mind? Costumes/outfits worn by Monica Belluci when she played Malena Scordia in an iconic Italian movie set on Sicily.  The costumes for that movie were designed by an acclaimed Italian costume designer Maurizio Millenotti and he outdone himself! Seeing that Malena is a historical movie, Maurizio choose quite timeless outfits and cuts that will ever go out of style. That fact makes Malena movie the perfect place to look for inspiration! Moreover, I feel that Monica Belluci's personal style is quite similar to Malena's (i.e. to the style of the character she is playing).
