in the zoo/ u zoološkom vrtu

Some people are against the zoo. I'm not really sure where I stand. I agree that it is unnatural for most animals to be kept in the captivity. However, zoos are important for preserving endangered species. Breeding in captivity and releasing the animals is one of the way to preserve an endangered animal. Besides, in the zoos people often get educated about animals, so there is that side as well. There isn't much to be said about the outfit, it's very much casual and nothing you haven't seen before. I was actually a bit cold as these photos were taken this weekend when it wasn't as warm as it is today.

  3. You're so right that many people have problems with Zoo's and I'm not sure where I stand on that either but I really like your photos and the beautiful shots of the animals too. Your casual look is perfect for a day out and I love the striped top. I wish I had one like that for the 4th of July tomorrow. :)

  7. Gorgeous. I am inbetween with zoos. I think they do amazing work to preserve animals whose habitats are being destroyed to raise awareness and funds for them. But, I know some zoos do not respect the animals or provide proper areas for them. So, those ones need fixed. Many animals would be no more if there weren't any zoos, so they are important. xx

  13. For me it´s the same, dear Ivana, I´m not sure if I should against or pro a zoo. I think for some animal species it helps again their extinction ... But I have always so much charity with the caged animals!

I like your top really - it looks so much as summer! Here in Bavaria the summer paused again today ...

  16. I love going to the zoo and learning about all the different animals! But I do have to say its unfortunate that some of the animals are being kept in captivity in environments way different than their natural ones :(

  19. I love well-kept zoos that take care of animals who were once injured or who were born in captivity and unable to take care of themselves in the wild. :) Animals are just fascinating.

  21. Yep, I'm such a person, I'm against zoos, circuses and any other ways to use animals for our amusement. I'm deeply sorry about nowadays situation in society, in essence people are using animals as toys or something like that. Human population is increasing, but number of wild animals are decreasing day by day.
Anyhow, pictures are beautiful , that bird at the first shot is really gorgeous! Hopefully, they are really full-fed in a proper way!
    Have a happy time!

    Best wishes, Alexandra

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.

My fashion illustration of the day + book review / Moja modna ilustracija dana + ogled knjige ( Le Diable au corps) 6.12.2016

This morning I read an amazing novel. Le Diable au corps (translated as The Devil In the Flesh) is a novel by Raymond Radiquet. Believe it or not, this was by first book by this French writer. I don't think I even heard of him before, which is odd, but well, it happens. In his time, Raymond was quite a celebrity and he is still considered as one of the important French writers of that period. Did I like this novel? Quite frankly, I loved it. I just couldn't put this novel down. I must have read it an hour or so. I got up a bit more earlier this morning so I actually had time to read it with my morning coffee (it is not a very long novel but still it is amazing how easy it was to find one's self glued to those pages). Perhaps I should make it a habit, getting up more early so I can read more.
Jutros sam pročitala divan roman. Đavo u tijelu  (naslov izvornika Le Diable au corps) je roman Raymonda Radiqueta. Vjerovali ili ne, ovo je moj prvi roman ovoga pisca. Mislim da nika…

Fashion illustrations of the day (markers)

Hello darlings! How are you? Can you believe that February ends today? This month has just flown by. I know it's the shortest month in the year but still. Today I'm going to share 3 fashion illustrations and sketches with you. The medium for all of them is marker on paper. I don't work with markers that often, but sometimes it is good to try something different. The fashion sketches I'm sharing are all about 3 colours: purple, green and red. Spring is in the air, so this is my reflection on all those trends for the new season. The first illustration shows a girl wearing a purple and blue jumpsuit. The second illustration features a girl wearing a transparent green dress with a top and a skirt under that dress. The third illustration shows two girls in red gowns.

February Recap (art & DIY projects & outfits)

I've put a lot of effort into blogging this February, I hope it shows. As far as the content goes, February was similar to January, mostly a mix of my illustrations and outfit posts (here). This month I was full of positing ideas and I managed to make many of them happen. I feel pretty good about that. The only thing I feel bad about is making my blog monolingual and not using my other languages, but translating texts from English to other languages takes such a long time. It is so much easier to just write in English.  Hopefully, I'll manage to change that and make my blog multilingual again. I need to organize my time better. Fingers crossed. For March I already have a few posts prepared. You can expect more art (mostly fashion illustrations) & outfit posts.

DIY PROJECTS
I shared two DIY projects in February, one about making a Barbie dress, the other was about how to paint a plant container. I don't have any DIY projects prepared for March, but I'm sure that I…
