Malena

No, I'm not talking about that famous film starring beautiful Monica Bellucci but rather about something (someone) quite different. Malena happens to be the name of my new puppy! Isn't she just adorable? Almost immediately I took her to the mountains. She is a German Shepard so exercise will do her good. This breed is not your stay at home dog for sure. I think when you decide to take a dog, you should check the breed standards (if it has any) and do you best to provide it with best care and a lifestyle that fits the breed's standards. I'm an outdoorsy type so I think this dog and I will get along just fine.

Ne pričam o onom poznatom filmu sa prelijepom Monicom Bellucci nego o nečemu (ili netkome) posve drukčijem. Malena je ime moga psića! Zar nije preslatka? Skoro odmah nakon što smo je dobili, otišli smo u planine. Pošto je Malena njemački ovčar dobro će joj doći takva rekreacija. Mislim da ako odlučite imati psa, trebate se i brinuti o njemu, pa se tako i upoznati sa standardima vrste (ako im ima) i osigurati joj potrebne uvjete i skrb.

Today I shall review The Island of Missing Trees by Elif Shafak. I was actually gifted this book. What a wonderful present it proved to be! Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! How are you today? I'm back with another Ursula K. Le Guin book review. In this post, I'll review " Forgiveness Day" , a science fiction novella that is a part of the Hainish Circle. Published in 1995, "Forgiveness Day " won multiple awards. This novella is often published together with her other novellas from the Hainish Circle, and it can be find in various editions of Four Ways to Forgiveness and Five Ways to Forgiveness.   Thematically, this novella is a part of five stories featuring two Hainish planets, but it can definitely be read on its own. I think it functions well as a stand alone novella. I listened to it in audio form, and I didn't have any problems following the story.  The world building is simple and effective.
