Diploma (odjevna kombinacija) ---M.A (outfit post)

 My outfit today is really colourful. I didn't used to be so comfortable with mixing colours but I guess that my taste has changed. Wearing different materials and patterns is what I go for lately.

As of today I hold a master's degree in:
- Crotian language and literature
- English language and literature

It is not that I'm bragging. Education is after all a matter of privilege. Everyone who wants to study and can afford it can have a degree of his choice. If  I hadn't had  financial support I would have never had the chance to study and hence graduate so it is not like it is only my personal achievement. Still, I'm very happy today and I want to share it with you.











Danas sam diplomirala! Nije da se hvalim, svatko tko ima priliku i potporu može završiti studij. Ipak magistar struke lijepo zvuči, zar ne? Jako sam sretna danas. Moj studij hrvatskog i engleskog jezika i književnosti došao je kraju. Pošto je danas moj dan obukla sam sve stvari koje volim, a to znači puno uzoraka  i materijala. Od pliša do samta do svile...sve je tu;)

    i dont know what i should say, except FANTASTIC!!! In this gorgeous outfit you look so very feminity. I love all of that. This clothing shows me, that you have a great style of elegance fashion.

    By your killing legs you must wear these little skirt. Blouse and Jacket are colourful perfect.

    Your tights have a great pattern, even they reminds me on snakeskin - i dont like Snakes - they scary me. Skin-coloured tights would surely great looking on that.

    Funny that your handbag has almost the same (Snake)pattern as your tights - i think, that was your plan, right?

 Welcome Spring! We welcome thy beauty! We also fear thy evil twin- The Spring Fatigue. Like in a telenovela, one rarely comes without the other. Both are inevitable, so let's just welcome the first and try to manage the other until it perishes (in a slow motion) in a fatal car accident. That's what always happened in the Latin soap operas (i.e telenovelas) that were all the rave when I was a kid (and that are the reason why many Croatian people have a pretty good passive understanding of Spanish without even learning it in school, but I digress).  My point is that the beautiful Spring often comes accompanied with Spring Fatigue that can range from mild tiredness to extreme exhaustion. Let there be colour! (outfit post) / Neka bude boja (odjevna kombinacija)

It was over 40 degrees Celsius (that's over 100 Fahrenheit) when these photographs were taken. Seriously! I'm obviously a desert type when I'm able to enjoy being out at midday in a city that is practically an oven. If you did not know Mostar city is surrounded by mountains and hills which pretty much turns it into an urban oven. Yes, this city is a champion of unbelievably high temperatures during the Summer. So, this hat was as much a necessity as a fashion statement. Wearing a hat when temperature is over 100 Fahrenheit is a sound idea, believe me.   Hello readers and fellow bloggers!  Welcome Spring. What does Spring means to you?  To me, it means a great many things. This year, it meant a possibility of a longer spring break. With summer being in full spring, I caught myself thinking about iconic summer outfits. Do you know what came to my mind? Costumes/outfits worn by Monica Belluci when she played Malena Scordia in an iconic Italian movie set on Sicily.  The costumes for that movie were designed by an acclaimed Italian costume designer Maurizio Millenotti and he outdone himself! Painting of the day (A Lioness) / Slika dana (Lavica)

When I woke up this morning, the first thing I did was walk to the kitchen. Naturally, I was there to make coffee (can’t start a day without it) but while I was at it, I decided to also make a nice cup of warm chocolate. I figured that one can’t have too many warm drinks when the weather is misbehaving. Plus, I wanted something to drink right away, and because preparing coffee my style takes a while (wouldn’t be caught dead drinking instant coffee;)) I opted for warm chocolate first and it was nice but I have to remember to make my own instant coffee again, I’m sure that stuff they sell in shops are full of all kinds of unhealthy stuff. Speaking of health, I have had a cold for a week now, my throat is still sore and my vocal cords are in pitiful state.  I'm not a big fan of my voice right now, but most people seem to like it. If you spent each day on a different Croatian island, it would take you three years to visit them all, as there are more than a 1, 200 islands in Croatia. I visted only one Croatian island this Summer and I'm currently trying to work out in my head how many of them I have visited in my lifetime. Alas, only a handful of them. So many Croatian islands to visit, so little time!   Standing on my grandmother's terrace, I realize the root of my fascination with rocks.
