nails (red/white manicure)+ today's outfit post---crveno-bijela manikura i današnje ruho:)

Hello, how have you been? This is my 2nd post today and it's about 2 things.

1. nails

I love dark red nails but yesterday after finishing them, I thought to myself: "This is kind of boring!" so I added white dots. ( I like dots) That's it. Pretty simple as I am no nail whisperer! ( that was kind of silly thing to say, right? that word is a bit overused. Nevermind, I promise to avoid it in the future). The brands are as you can see: Miss sixty and Maybelline. Product review: I'm not complaining, pretty good nailpolishes!

2. today's outfit: long white scarf

coat (kaput): gift (poklon) + DIY, jeans (rebatinke): gift + DIY, upper tracksuit: Tally Weijl
white scarf: hand made by my grandmother

I really like the coloured coat trend, my fav would be the red coat ( those of you who have seen my post about red coats on street of Split might know that) but this baby blue wool coats works for me and you'll probably be seeing it a lot. However, what I like most (from this outfit) is the white scarf my grandmother made me. I had it for a few years and have been wearing it often, it goes well with everything. Granny calls it a fancy scarf because it is more about being stylish than warm or so she says. Still, I have to say it is pretty warm especially if you wrap it around you. However, mostly I just like to wear it like this. I've always loved long scarfs and it was my High school teacher (literature teacher as you might assume)  that told me the well known tragic story about Isadora Dunced who was strangled by her own silk scarf (something to have in mind)  So sad , right? Imagine how Yesenin was feeling.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isadora_Duncan

I love my granmother, she is a bit of jack of all trades, a women of many talents, stonemasonery included.

Nikad dosta opreza.

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism.

My fashion illustration of the day + book review / Moja modna ilustracija dana + ogled knjige ( Le Diable au corps) 6.12.2016

This morning I read an amazing novel. Le Diable au corps (translated as The Devil In the Flesh) is a novel by Raymond Radiquet. Believe it or not, this was by first book by this French writer. I don't think I even heard of him before, which is odd, but well, it happens. In his time, Raymond was quite a celebrity and he is still considered as one of the important French writers of that period. Did I like this novel? Quite frankly, I loved it. I just couldn't put this novel down. I must have read it an hour or so. I got up a bit more earlier this morning so I actually had time to read it with my morning coffee (it is not a very long novel but still it is amazing how easy it was to find one's self glued to those pages). Perhaps I should make it a habit, getting up more early so I can read more.

Fashion illustrations of the day (markers)

Hello darlings! How are you? Can you believe that February ends today? This month has just flown by. I know it's the shortest month in the year but still. Today I'm going to share 3 fashion illustrations and sketches with you. The medium for all of them is marker on paper. I don't work with markers that often, but sometimes it is good to try something different. The fashion sketches I'm sharing are all about 3 colours: purple, green and red. Spring is in the air, so this is my reflection on all those trends for the new season. The first illustration shows a girl wearing a purple and blue jumpsuit. The second illustration features a girl wearing a transparent green dress with a top and a skirt under that dress. The third illustration shows two girls in red gowns.

February Recap (art & DIY projects & outfits)

I've put a lot of effort into blogging this February, I hope it shows. As far as the content goes, February was similar to January, mostly a mix of my illustrations and outfit posts (here). This month I was full of positing ideas and I managed to make many of them happen. I feel pretty good about that. The only thing I feel bad about is making my blog monolingual and not using my other languages, but translating texts from English to other languages takes such a long time. It is so much easier to just write in English.  Hopefully, I'll manage to change that and make my blog multilingual again. I need to organize my time better. Fingers crossed. For March I already have a few posts prepared. You can expect more art (mostly fashion illustrations) & outfit posts.

DIY PROJECTS
I shared two DIY projects in February, one about making a Barbie dress, the other was about how to paint a plant container. I don't have any DIY projects prepared for March, but I'm sure that I…
