moja modna ilustracija/ my fashion illustration I've been getting a lot of questions lately about my fashion illustrations. How do you I manage to be so productive? What brand of watercolours I use?...etc. Well, I'm not sure there is a trick to being productive. There are some methods we can employ, but they're pretty personal, by that I mean they are something we develop on our own, so I'm not sure how helpful will my advice be to somebody. I think it is like with food, the more you draw or paint, the more you feel like drawing or painting, the more you need it (ok, now it sounds a bit more like drugs than food but you know what I'm getting at. Besides, metaphors are never perfect). I might share some tricks that personally work for me (like sketching a lot) in the future but being productive is a relative term. I guess it is just one of those trends that caught my eye. I know it is not exactly practical for everyday wear, but there is something truly glam about a cape. Perfect choice for a special occasion? Perhaps it really is. You will probably be noticed if you wear a cape. I think I would probably wear one if an opportunity ever presents itself. What about you? The cape on this illustration is red, while the dress and the heels are blue. Red and blue is one of those colour combinations I really like and I can't never get tired of it. This is what I wore for the first day of this year. I opted for a blue, white and black colour combination. I wore a blouse over a dress because that way I was actually warmer. I always liked doing this because it is a good way to turn a dress into a skirt. I do it the other way around as well. Sometimes I wear a skirt over a dress and that way I turn my dress into a blouse or a  top. I think this necklace is a good match with this blouse that is also in boho style.  In addition, I like this arragement of colours. Now, if you are wondering about the location these photographs were taken in Medugorje. Ovo sam nosila za prvi dan ove godine. Odabrala sam plavu, bijelu i crnu za ovu odjevnu kombinaciju. Nosila sam bluzu preko haljina jer mi je na taj način bilo toplije. Uvijek mi se sviđalo to raditi jer je to dobar način za pretvoriti haljinu u suknju. This was one of those days when you can't stop smiling and you're not even sure why. To tell you the truth this outfit is also from last year, but considering that it is raining outside now is actually the perfect time to post it. These photographs were taken in Mostar and I rather like them, especially those with the street art in the background. Not suprisingly, I'm a big fan of graffiti and street art, even more so when they're done artistically and when they become true works of art. I always try to share street art with you on my blog, because it can be very creative and inspiring. Back at University, I even wrote one paper about graffiti in Split city. Here is my fashion illustration of the day. It depicts a girl wearing a pair of red trousers, a brown sweater and a black vest. Simple casual outfit, but sometimes simple is enough. The trousers have interesting pockets on them, something akin to those I wore in this outfit, so I think they make a good central point for this outfit. Would you wear something like this? I always love the first day of the new year. Everything seems possible and even the air itself feels more fresh.  In this new year, I wish you all the best. The first outfit I'm sharing this year is all about the accessories. The necklace is my own creation and this fabulous ring is something I won in a a giveaway. These photographs were actually taken about a month ago, but I hope you don't mind.  Uvijek volim prvi dan nove godine. Sve će čini mogućim pa čak je i sami zrak nekako svježiji. U ovoj novoj godini želim vam sve najbolje. Prva odjevna kombinacija koju s vama dijelim vrti se oko modnih dodataka.
