blue and green (outfit post)/ plava i zelena (odjevna kombinacija)

I do love the combo of blue and green. That is my favourite thing about this outfit. The jewelry  that I like so much (the diy necklace and Selena Kuhl bracelet) are actually the same as the in the last outfit because the shots were taken on the same (very busy) day. The wedges are made from cork and are the most comfortable shoes ever! I don't think there will be much outfit posts this month (it's hard for me to organize that but I might as well post this photos since they happened to be taken), so you're much more likely to see more of my illustrations and stuff like that. I hope you have a lovely weekend.

 Sviđa mi se kombinacija plave i zelene. To mi je najdraža stvar kod ove kombinacije. Nakit koji mi se jako sviđa je zapravo isti kao i onaj iz prošlog posta s odjevnom kombinacijom, a to je zato jer su oba slikana na isti (jako naporni i zauzeti) dan. Cipele su od pluta i tako su udobne! Mislim da neće biti puno odjevnim kombinacija ovog mjeseca, teško mi je to organizirati (ali kad su ove već uslikane evo ih), puno je vjerojatnije da ćete vidjeti više mojih ilustracija i slično. Nadam se da ćete uživati u vikendu.

      hvala, vjerojatno će haljina ipak proći neku preinaku jer sam u zadnje vrijeme opsjednuta preinakama (valjda jer nemam vremena za baš ušiti nešto, pa mi je to zamjena)

      yes, fortunately Mostar is full of trees and parks....being surrounded by mountians makes it quite hot in the spring and summer so the green aspect of it is most convinient:)

    What a lovely shape to this dress and I agree: blue and green is a great colour combination. There is a ridiculous british saying, regarding the styling of outfit colours: 'blue and green should never be seen' (seen together that is). Stupid isn't it?! I particularly love lapis blue with emerald green.

    great outfit, my dear.

    i like dresses of that kind: a little bit short on the legs and long arms. i think you know, that i love belts a lot. that´s why i would ever wear a belt to a dress like this. i think that give the waistline a better look. ahhhh, i see your diy necklace again - cool!

    also i find, that your handbag is a perfect match to your dress - colourwise. i love that colourmixture on you. I can image that your shoes "are the most comfortable shoes ever" are, but i dont like sandals (of that kind) not really. But on you looks great.

THE PAINTED VEIL, A NOVEL BY W.SOMERSET MAUGHAM (BOOK REVIEW)

Hello, dear readers! In this post, I'll review The Painted Veil , a novel by British writer William Somerset Maugham. Published in 1925, this novel was initially considered controversial because of its frank portrayal of martial infidelity. However, I think the implication of diplomatic corruption and the critique of British class system had something to do with it as well. Perhaps it hit a bit too close too home for the 1920th society, and for some especially so.  The author faced a lawsuit and had to change the surnames of its protagonist, something that he talks about in the Preface . Moreover, Maugham had to replace Hong Kong with an imaginary name Tching-Yen, thought, this imaginary name was not used in later editions. We don't know whether Maugham was inspired by any particular couple when writing this story, but we do know that he draw from his work experience as a doctor and his dabbling in science.
