blue and green (outfit post)/ plava i zelena (odjevna kombinacija)

inspirational collage/ kolaž inspiracije

I do love the combo of blue and green. That is my favourite thing about this outfit. The jewelry  that I like so much (the diy necklace and Selena Kuhl bracelet) are actually the same as the in the last outfit because the shots were taken on the same (very busy) day. The wedges are made from cork and are the most comfortable shoes ever! I don't think there will be much outfit posts this month (it's hard for me to organize that but I might as well post this photos since they happened to be taken), so you're much more likely to see more of my illustrations and stuff like that. I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Dress/Haljina: New Yorker, necklace/ogrlica: DIY, bracelet/narukvica: Selena Kuhl, wedges/ sandale na punu petu: no name, bag/torba: no name

  1. Predivno izgledaš, radujem se tvojim novim ilustracijama. :)

  2. Very chic, the dress is so cute. You look fab. :) xx

  3. Wow super ti stoji ova haljina, stvarno odlično izgledaš! :))

    1. hvala, vjerojatno će haljina ipak proći neku preinaku jer sam u zadnje vrijeme opsjednuta preinakama (valjda jer nemam vremena za baš ušiti nešto, pa mi je to zamjena)

  4. That dress fits you like a glove, and I also like such combination of blue and green. You look very chic) The place is also very beautiful, your city is so green!

    1. yes, fortunately Mostar is full of trees and parks....being surrounded by mountians makes it quite hot in the spring and summer so the green aspect of it is most convinient:)

  5. very beautiful look, you are very beautiful!!! :)

  6. lovely paintings

    the Dress is pretty <3

  10. Gorgeous Dress ,you look wonderful :)

  12. The colours you used are very vibrant and gorgeous. I love the green and blue combination, you look hot Ivana, xoxo.

  13. Bellissimo questo vestito, che bel colore!

  14. What a lovely shape to this dress and I agree: blue and green is a great colour combination. There is a ridiculous british saying, regarding the styling of outfit colours: 'blue and green should never be seen' (seen together that is). Stupid isn't it?! I particularly love lapis blue with emerald green.
    Gorgeous necklace too.

  15. Dear Ivana, again you look absolutely beautiful - blue is your colour! I love it so much that you wear the green necklace with it and I must say you are perfect in shape <3 And for sure your illustrations are an eyecandy (like you). Thanks a lot for posting!

Baci Lucy

  17. Prava letnja kombinacija boja. Meni je plava broj jedan, svakako.

  18. I love to combine green with blue too, you look chic and sexy! xo

  19. Uvek sam volela te dve boje zajedno i takve haljine. Jednostavno a savršeno! ;)

  20. great outfit, my dear.

i like dresses of that kind: a little bit short on the legs and long arms. i think you know, that i love belts a lot. that´s why i would ever wear a belt to a dress like this. i think that give the waistline a better look. ahhhh, i see your diy necklace again - cool!

also i find, that your handbag is a perfect match to your dress - colourwise. i love that colourmixture on you. I can image that your shoes "are the most comfortable shoes ever" are, but i dont like sandals (of that kind) not really. But on you looks great.

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism.

My fashion illustration of the day + book review / Moja modna ilustracija dana + ogled knjige ( Le Diable au corps) 6.12.2016

This morning I read an amazing novel. Le Diable au corps (translated as The Devil In the Flesh) is a novel by Raymond Radiquet. Believe it or not, this was by first book by this French writer. I don't think I even heard of him before, which is odd, but well, it happens. In his time, Raymond was quite a celebrity and he is still considered as one of the important French writers of that period. Did I like this novel? Quite frankly, I loved it. I just couldn't put this novel down. I must have read it an hour or so. I got up a bit more earlier this morning so I actually had time to read it with my morning coffee (it is not a very long novel but still it is amazing how easy it was to find one's self glued to those pages). Perhaps I should make it a habit, getting up more early so I can read more.

Fashion illustrations of the day (markers)

Hello darlings! How are you? Can you believe that February ends today? This month has just flown by. I know it's the shortest month in the year but still. Today I'm going to share 3 fashion illustrations and sketches with you. The medium for all of them is marker on paper. I don't work with markers that often, but sometimes it is good to try something different. The fashion sketches I'm sharing are all about 3 colours: purple, green and red. Spring is in the air, so this is my reflection on all those trends for the new season. The first illustration shows a girl wearing a purple and blue jumpsuit. The second illustration features a girl wearing a transparent green dress with a top and a skirt under that dress. The third illustration shows two girls in red gowns.

February Recap (art & DIY projects & outfits)

I've put a lot of effort into blogging this February, I hope it shows. As far as the content goes, February was similar to January, mostly a mix of my illustrations and outfit posts (here). This month I was full of positing ideas and I managed to make many of them happen. I feel pretty good about that. The only thing I feel bad about is making my blog monolingual and not using my other languages, but translating texts from English to other languages takes such a long time. It is so much easier to just write in English.  Hopefully, I'll manage to change that and make my blog multilingual again. I need to organize my time better. Fingers crossed. For March I already have a few posts prepared. You can expect more art (mostly fashion illustrations) & outfit posts.

I shared two DIY projects in February, one about making a Barbie dress, the other was about how to paint a plant container. I don't have any DIY projects prepared for March, but I'm sure that I…
