coffee on paper /kava na papiru


Somewhere I've read about this technique of painting with coffee and I've decided to give it a try. So, if you're wondering what it might look like this would be about it. Supposedly people who do this sort of painting use all kinds of coffee (including cappuccino) but I did it with Turkish coffee (and besides wouldn't the milk that is in cappucino have a bad smell after a while?)

 Negdje sam čitala o tehnici slikanja kavom pa sam odlučila pokušati, ako vas zanima kako izgleda, to bi bilo otprilike to.... Čula sam da ljudi koriste svakakve vrste kave za ovo (uključujući cappuccino), ali ja sam to izvela sa turskom kavom ( pa zar ne bi kava sa mlijekom imala neugodan miris nakon nekog vremena)?

Podstrana (Croatia/ Hrvatska)

Today another post from Dalmatia (region in Croatia). I had already posted about Podstrana here . It is a settlement and municipaty located near Split (in fact only 8 km from this city). Podstrana has about 9000 residens. It is very popular with the tourists. Podstrana has been populated since the prehistoric days. The first people to settle there were  Ilyrians,  more specifically, an Ilyrian tribe called Pituntini. If you want to see what the appeal is, feel free to browse photographs. When I was there this Sunday, the rainy clouds fought battle with the sun...and this elemental stuggle created those silver shades that Impressionist painters were so crazy about. WHAT DRESS TO CHOOSE THIS AUTUMN? SPECIAL OCCASION OUTFIT IDEAS

As I mentioned in one of my last post, I'm already thinking about what I might wear for all those festive occasions that are coming up. Autumn and Winter both have its fair share of festivities. Our social calendar can be quite busy this time of year with all the meetings, events, festivities, celebrations, family and work parties. Some of these social occasions come with a black tie dress code, so I decided to prepare some outfit ideas.  A bit of formal wear inspiration for  my readers. All of these photographs were taken the day before yesterday. We're enjoying a rather warm Autumn in Herzegovina but these outfits I'm sharing can be easily be adapted for colder weather.
