OUTFIT AND BOOK OF THE DAY (LORD OF LIGHT, A NOVEL BY ROGER ZELAZNY)

Hello dear readers! How's February treating you so far? Today I'll share a casual styling with you. I don't wear jeans on everyday basis, but sometimes nothing feels better than a pair of jeans.  Jeans are a timeless classic for a reason. Jeans never get old, perhaps because there are endless ways to wear them. If you're looking for some denim outfit inspiration, you can have a look at  my visual guide for wearing jeans for autumn and winter.   Jeans paired with heeled boots are one of my favourite outfit formulas for autumn and winter. I wore this outfit for a stroll in lovely Jelsa village on island Hvar.  HOW I WORE IT BEFORE?  As always, I try to be more sustainable in my fashion choices and wear my clothes as much a possible. Happiness is.... a soccer stadium that even a soccer hater must admire... Happiness is....four thousand years old sphinx that is soaking Split's sunshine and resting her pretty heard from riddles and questions....for she is no hurry, she has felt at home here ever since, almost two thousand years ago, a Roman emperor named Diocletian put her there..... Happiness is a city that is more than a city....a city that is opera and klapa, rock and serenades....the past and the future...happiness and sorrow....tourist hotspot and home to forty thousand unemployed. Happiness is….concealed within the children that are jumping and playing on mosaics and monuments thousands of years old....and that is actually something beautiful, a sign that this city lives...a reminder that is has been successful in a very difficult task ....a reminder that it learned the very important secret of joining the past and the future. WEAR WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY WHEN YOU CAN

Everyday is an opportunity to play dress up. Even if we're only getting dressed up for yourselves. In fact, especially then- if you're dressing for yourselves. If you think about it, your free time is the perfect time to play dress up. Too many people wear shabby clothes when they're around their house or when they go out for a walk. Don't wait for a big occasion, wear that pretty dress you have today- or whatever item in your outfit that you are saving for the right occasion. Life is an occasion enough.  An occasion to be grateful and to be joyful. Embrace life and joy that it can bring. Wear clothes that make you happy when you can. Obviously, we cannot always wear what we want, sometimes we need to be practical or dress for work. Podstrana (Croatia/ Hrvatska)

Today another post from Dalmatia (region in Croatia). I had already posted about Podstrana here . It is a settlement and municipaty located near Split (in fact only 8 km from this city). Podstrana has about 9000 residens. It is very popular with the tourists. Podstrana has been populated since the prehistoric days. The first people to settle there were  Ilyrians,  more specifically, an Ilyrian tribe called Pituntini. If you want to see what the appeal is, feel free to browse photographs. When I was there this Sunday, the rainy clouds fought battle with the sun...and this elemental stuggle created those silver shades that Impressionist painters were so crazy about. Standing at the beach, I could see just what they were so fascinated with. Sea has its own magic, powerful and ancient force that is hard to explain with words. Danas još jedna objava iz Dalmacije.
