Nobody believes in you? all the better! You can catch them all by surprise!
Nitko ne vjeruje u tebe? još bolje! Možeš ih sve iznenaditi!
Beautiful and I agree with the words too!! I often think some people don't believe in me because I am very quiet sometimes or a dreamer, so it's nice to just surprise them rather than try to argue my point of view :) xx
100% agree! I had so many people, most of them are family members putting me down in the past, it hurts but made me three times more determine and work harder to prove everyone wrong. It's the best satisfaction to see them speechless!
That's right Ivana, if no one believes in us, at least we have our owns hopes and strengths to reach our aims. Nice sketch, as always it's absolutely in your inimitable style!
You might think that nobody believes in you. But what if someone does but they don't believe in themselves enough to tell you? Impressive work Ivana, love it! Have a nice day! <3
All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.
Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! In this post, I'll share another destination painting of mine. You know what that means- it's time for another TRAVEL WITH MY ART post! Today I'm taking you to Herzeg Stjepan Kosaca fortress. This stunning historical fortress overlooking Blagaj in Bosnia and Herzegovina is a sight to behold. Trying to capture its magical beauty in a painting was a challenge! The medium for this painting is acrylic paints on cotton canvas. The painting process was actually quite long and tedious. I've worked on this painting since Autumn and I only finished it towards the end of Summer. I rushed the painting towards the end, because I wanted to participate in the joint artist exhibition. There was a submission deadline to meet, so I submitted this canvas not feeling confident it's actually finished. If you happen to visit Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina, you'll be able to see my painting hanging in the Stjepan Kosača gallery for the next ...
Hello readers and fellow bloggers! In this post, I'll share two transitional outfits featuring a lilac skirt from fashion designer Stanka Zovko. If you're a regular reader of this blog, you've probably seen this skirt before. Afterall, I'm really good at shopping my closet. I've been wearing this lilac skirt a lot in the past few months. It's also a great piece for transitional weather because it can be easily layered, or dressed up and down. Supporting local designers and artisans is certainly something that pays off in the long run. If you want to own unique pieces and at the same time, support your local community, you should really explore shopping local, or commissioning local artisans and designers. Sustainability in fashion is a big topic nowadays! However, sometimes I feel like people make it more complicated than it really is. We should go back to our origins. Explore vintage, second hand and local shopping. Learn how to stay away from the big shoppin...
Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! In this post, I will review Sword of Destiny , a fantasy book by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. Published in 1992, Sword of Destiny is considered the second entry in the Witcher series. Despite the fact that The Last Wish was published the following year, it is considered the first book in the series. In total, there are eight books in the Witcher series. Now, you might have heard of this Witcher series as there is both a popular game and TV series based on it! In fact, this fantasy saga has become a part of modern culture, inspiring plays, songs, comic books, television series and video games. This saga is so popular that it has been translated into 37 languages, making Andrzej Sapkowski the second most translated Polish author after Stanislaw Lem . Speaking of translations, I really enjoyed my Croatian translation of Sword of Destiny. Kindle books are practical, but nothing beats regular reading, that is,...
Today I shall review The Island of Missing Trees by Elif Shafak. I was actually gifted this book. What a wonderful present it proved to be! Published in 2021, this postmodern novel follows two story lines and uses framed narration. The Island of Missing Trees tells the life story of a Greek Turkish couple and their adolescent daughter. This novel examines and explores a number of topics such as identity, migration, immigrant life, war trauma, memory, love and family. It's an ambitious novel that examines serious topics with due respect and sensitivity . I read it months ago, but I remember it vividly. Honestly, I cried a lot while reading this novel. It really moved me greatly. In fact, that is probably why it took me this long to finish this book review. I needed to emotionally process the story. The Island of Missing Trees is set in London and Cyprus. The narration isn't chronological . The story jumps back and forth, following ...
In this post, I shall review both the second and the third novel in the Shadow and Bone trilogy written by Leigh Bardugo. In my last post, I published a pretty detailed review of the captivating first novel in the trilogy. On overall, I'll do my best to avoid spoilers, but as this review will include some quotes, don't expect it to be completely spoiler free. Moreover, since the plot in the sequel follows directly on the first novel, you'll be able to figure out some things, such as the protagonist Alina and Mal obviously surviving. I don't think that's much of a spoiler anyway. As I explained in my last post when I reviewed Shadow and Bone, I had a bit mixed feelings about the first novel in the series. I loved Shadow and Bone for its simple and engaging writing, as well as a well constructed plot that was paired with a wonderful building, but I struggled connecting with the characters on a deeper level and was mildly irritated by some genre stereotypes. Like...
Great job! Have a successful day dear!

Bas zato, kada niko ne veruje treba da verujemo u sebe jer - glupo je sam sebe razocarati, a i sami znamo sta mozemo.
