TWO NEW SEASCAPES: WATERCOLOUR PENCIL ON PAPER (JELSA, ISLAND HVAR)

Image
Today I'll show you two new landscape paintings I sketched while lounging on a beach in Jelsa (island Hvar, Croatia) and finished when I got back home. One of these paintings is more detailed while the other is a  more a sketch. When I finished the first one, my husband asked me why I don't do something with less details so I did another one. The view on these paintings is slightly different. They both depict the same place, but the perspective is different. Sometimes it is good to focus more on the face and the details. The medium is watercolour pencils on A4 mixed media paper. The watercolour pencils I used are by Steadler brand and the mixed media paper (250g/m2) is by Royal talens  (the links are neither sponsored nor affiliated, just trying to be helpful). I'm not focused on selling originals of my art right now, but if someone is really interested and wants to offer a fair price, you can always drop me an email. As for prints of my art, they are available for sale on Redbubble and Arthaus . Scroll down to see the making of process and well as photo references I used for this post.  Making of this fashion illustration wasn't a terribly difficult process. It wa...

ZARAĆE- A CHARMING VILLAGE THAT IS A MIX OF THE OLD AND THE NEW First we will visit Zaraće, a small village in immediate vicinity of Hvar town.
