Personally, I'm a fan of celebrations. Any kind of celebrations. Possibly because celebrations include food. As you can probably tell, I love to eat. I also love to cook. Supposedly, cooking burns a lot of calories. Well, at least I'm spending some of all those calories I consume on every day basis;). Yes, I tend to enjoy my food. This year Valentine's day was the perfect excuse for me to prepare all kinds of sweets and cakes. I'm not sure will I share them here, perhaps tomorrow. Today I'm sharing with you a fashion illustration that is inspired by this day. The girl depicted is wearing a red dress. What is more classic than a red dress for a Valentine's day?  How do you like this dress? The medium is watercolour on paper.  How will I spend San Valentine's day? Not as planned. Hello there! How was your day? Mine was alright and I'm finishing it off by sharing this fashion illustration with you. I didn't use any reference, neither for the dress, nor for the girl I illustration. However, now that I'm looking at it, it makes me think of Yasmin from Aladdin (you probably saw that Disney classic, right?). It must be because of the long hair.... or is it because the outfit she wore was blue? Speaking of which, what is your favourite Disney classic? I think I will have to say Frozen. It is the last one I saw and I liked how the emphasis was placed on sisterly love. But I don't think I will watch the sequels. I don't want to be disappointed. Zdravo svima! Kako vam je prošao dan? My last illustration was focused on Spring. Today, my inspiration is Winter. Maxi dresses. Crazy accessories. Big sleeves. Fur coats. That calm at the end of the day. Silent nights.  Sky filled with twinkling stars. Winter magic.  Moja zadnja ilustracija bila je u tonu proljeća. Nadahnuće za današnju je zima. Duge haljine. Ludi modni dodaci. Veliki rukavi. Yes, I didn't manage to salvage it. However, I managed to turn it into something else. I used only watercolours on this one, but I managed to create a collage effect. I'm not sure does this one qualified as mixed media. As you can see I added tiny bits of paper and bonded them with water and then painted on them with watercolour. So, the components are just paper, water and watercolours. How do you like this fashion illus...

It is certainly not too early to start thinking about beachwear. Spring will be here before we know it. Those of you who follow me on Instagram have already had the chance of seeing this illustration. This olive bikini I illustrated is from Lucy Bea, an  independent designer from USA (check out her site here ). She has some cute designs on her page. This fashion illustration was my entry for a giveaway. This was the first time I entered a giveaway of this kind, it was fun. Anyway, the medium is watercolour on paper.
