Who was Saint Valentine's? Why do we celebrate his day?  Saint Valentine  ( Italian :  San Valentino ;  Latin :  Valentinus ) was a 3rd-century Roman  saint , commemorated in Western  Christianity  on February 14 and in  Eastern Orthodoxy  on July 6. From the  High Middle Ages ,  his feast day  has been associated with a tradition of  courtly love . He is also a  patron saint  of  Terni ,  epilepsy  and  beekeepers . [2] [3]  Saint Valentine was a clergyman – either a priest or a  bishop  – in the  Roman Empire  who ministered to  persecuted Christians . [4]  He was  martyred  and his body buried on the  Via Flaminia  on February 14, which has been observed as the  Feast of Saint Valentine  (Saint Valentine's Day) since at least the eighth century. I used to hate Winter, but somehow that changed. It was a suble change but a permant one. Now I really enjoy cold and sunny days. I have another confession to make. I actually wore this outfit about a month ago but I forgot to post it. On that particular day the weather was the same as today, kind of cold but sunny. This outfit is perfect for those kind of days. Furthermore, lately I've been wearing variations of this outfit quite frequently. The only thing I change these days are the shoes. I like to stay warm and this long puffer really keeps me feeling nice and cozy. You'll be seeing a lot of this puffer this month. These photographs were taken in Mostar, BIH. Nekada sam mrzila zimu, ali to se nekako promijenilo, a bila je to suptilna promjena koja je postala trajnom. Sada doista uživam u ovim hladnim i sunčanim danima. Moram još nešto priznati. Nosila sam ovu kombinaciju prije mjesec dana (zaboravila sam je tada objaviti), na dan koji je bio prohladan i sunčan kao dana...

 I've crossed over to the dark side and I like it. Don't worry, it is nothing dramatic. I just changed my hair colour. I know I said I like my natural colour, but I felt like changing something in my life and this change was the easiest one to make. What do you think about it? Here I'm back in Mostar. I always like to read dining recommendations, so why not share one here on my blog? I already recommend one restoraunt in Ljubuški (Bosnia and Herzegovina) in this post . ( If you want to see more of this little city, you can check out this old post .)  I'm pretty sure both of these restaurants are own by the same person. This one, however, is the original one and by that I mean that it was opened first. This  restaurant is a fish restaurant (as its name would imply because that is what 'riblji restoran' means in Croatian).  These photographs were taken last Summer. We choose this fish restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary last September. It was a serene experience dining there. The place is so peaceful and quiet, it felt like an oasis on that particually hot day. I couldn't resist taking a lot of photographs of the creek and the surroundings.
