 Hello! In this post, I'll share a book recommendation.  The Heart of a Woman   is a memoir by Maya Angelou. The events she describes in this book take place between 1957 and 1962 and in that sense this book is a continuation of her previous memoirs.   I do admire her courage when it comes to blending literature with autobiography. It is not an easy task and only a few have really gotten away with it. To narrate one's life, any period of it, in such an intimate way demands great courage, but turning that narration into a literature takes a kind of discipline and self restraint only great writers have, thought people generally don't realize how hard writing on this level really is.  Years ago, I found a quote by Maya that really moved me but instead of looking her up immediately, I decided to wait. Two ways to wear a scarf. Nothing revolutionary. If you want more inspiration, you will have to click this old  post  of mine (or this new one ). The first suggestion I'm throwing your way is just tying a scarf in a bow. Nice, simple and bound to give every outfit a feminine touch. Do you agree? The other way is to secure a scarf with a belt. You must have took notice of  'belted scarf' trend last year. I think we will be seeing it in the upcoming Autumn and Winter season as well. I've been searching for them for an entire year and no wonder I couldn't find this pair because it was at my grandmother's house all this time. You know that an item belongs in your closet when you keep on looking. However, this pair was not the only thing I found, last year I also left this vintage shirt dress here. Both of the necklaces I'm wearing in this outfit I made myself. One of them is made from red denim and satin cord and the other one is from faux leather. Today I'm showing you another way to style this white dress I received from dresslink. You can see my first outfit here . This time I wore a vintage midi skirt over the dress, so I've basically turned it  into a blouse. I wore a vintage scarf over it and  accessorized with massive earrings and many bracelets to create a bit of the ethic/ traditinal vibe.
