Swans are not supposed to prefer the sea to the lakes and rivers, are they? Tell these guys that. I mean, there are plenty of rivers and creeks in the vicinity but they like tourist seem to prefer the seafront promenade.  Speaking of unusual sightings, here I am wearing skinny jeans. I borrowed them on this occasion because with this coat they might actually work. However, you won't be seeing me in skinny jeans any time soon. No, thank you. Time for another DIY post and just in case you're too lazy to read this text or you don't have the time, there is one sentence summary that will tell you all you need to know. Recently I got these boots and was very pleased with them because they're both warm and comfortable,  but ( don't you just hate it when there's a but) the faux leather started to peel off right away. I wore them only once and this is what they ended up looking like. I repeat: only once.  Meditating over the issue for a while, I decided not to get rid of them because they are so warm and even more importantly because they were a gift. So, I bought some leather paint (different stuff than textile paints not only in structure but in smell as well. It pretty much smells like a road kill).  As you can see, the result isn't that great. Time for another Share in Style . This time the theme is Japanese inspiration. Can you see it in my outfit? I'm wearing a dark blue shirt that I absolutely love because it's 100% cotton and has really long sleeves that fit even my monkey arms. The collar on this blue shirt is what we would call  a Russian collar but isn't it similar to traditional Japanese collar? The second  item that is inspired by Japan is this lovely white vintage jacket that I hand pained myself. When I think of Japan, I think of beautiful hand-painted clothing items so perhaps that's where the inspiration for this jacket originally came from.  This outfit would look  much better without a coat but I was not feeling that great this morning hence I didn't want to take any changes. It took two pain killers, lots of herbal tea and lavender  oil inhalation just to get me out of the bed. Over the shirt and under the white jacket and coat, I wore a green dress...

Don't feel bad if you can't travel at the moment. Many people can't afford a vacation and there are always those with small kids for whom travelling is difficult. Just because you're not able to take a vacation doesn't mean you can't have some fun. Being a tourist in your own town can be a lot of fun.  Forget about make up (and hairdos), wear sneakers and jeans and go for that long walk that will show you another side of your town. Find a neighbourhood you haven't been in, discover something new, let yourself be taken over by your inner traveler (we all have an inner traveler in us- that's one of the things I strongly believe in). No matter the size of the town you happen to live in, the chances are there are places in it you haven't seen before.  Nemojte biti loše volje samo zato što ne može otputovati negdje.
