I think you can guess what DIY is....the handbag (or the clutch because it can be worn as both.) Now there is a big pink flower on it...and to be honest, I'm not sure I was completely successful with this one. I think I could have done a better job. Maybe it isn't over yet (I still may add a  finishing touch)...we'll see (I'll write about it if it looks presentable)...The outfit is , as far as I'm concerned, very spring appropriate....a winter coat and a summer dress? Why not? I actually like early spring and its unpredictable weather changes. It's like mind games every day. What should I wear suddenly becomes almost a chess game. Your move, spring. Often baking is a spur of the moment thing for me. Usually I decide all of the sudden that I'm in mood for preparing cakes and get down to it. That was the case last Sunday. I've made so many cakes (about 2 kg ) that I had more then enough to share with friends and family. Food is there to be shared, food is love ...well, it is if you ask me. That reminds of a story...About a decade ago I moved to Dubrovnik for work and   rented a house with a friend in a small village near Cavtat (a small city near Dubrovik). When we had time me and my roommate would prepare all kinds of dishes. When I made cakes I often took some to the landlady who lived with her family on the floor above us. Later on, my formal company send me to Italy and my parents came to pick up my stuff and pay the rest of rent. My mother was very surprised when the landlady told her about all the cakes I used to prepare. 'I didn't even know my daughter can cook', my surprised mother said. Truth...

Hello readers! Are you ready for another DIY projects with fabric/ textile paints?  The pattern on the pair of pants (that I'm presenting today in this casual outfit) was created with a technique that I have written about quite often on this blog, i.e. painting and writing with textile paints. I have used textile colours to decorate various items of clothing (coats, skirts, jeans...just about anything really.) I have even used it to paint  racing cars, motorcycles and watches on my little nephew's t-shirts. My little nephew painted one of his t-shirts himself once, he was doing really well before he suddenly decided to make quite a mess...and it seemed to had made him blissfully happy. Kids:)... They show us the true meaning of creativity...never be afraid to try something new, never be afraid you'll ruin something, never hold back your curiosity...every experience is a new lesson...they seem to understand this intuitively, don't they?  Uzorak na ovim hlač...

Besides the fact that it provides you with plenty of polka dots on your nails, you get them in different colours...and this shade of green reminds me of the sea, there is almost a mermaid feeling about it. The only downside to Colorama nail-polishes is that they don't stay on for very long. They're affordable and have great shades but they don't stay on for long (one day in my case, but I do a lot of housework, cooking and cleaning) . I've bought this one together with a pink on...
