I like travelling by ferry. Not that there is another way to get to the islands in Croatia. Well, maybe there is if you have a private jet. Anyway, this morning I need a dose of "happiness" and "easiness", so I have found  some really old pics that I have taken on the ferries. The quality of the images  isn't much but I think they still convey the right feeling. After all, summer is almost here and I need some inspiration.

I I can hardly believe that this is what I wore yesterday...on the first freaking day of June! (wiki says:  In the Northern hemisphere, the beginning of the meteorological  summer  is 1 June.)  Yesterday the weather was pretty dramatic...not to say cold. So, interesting start of summer. Maybe it is a good sign?  I felt like a heroine of Brave Heart, ready to free Scotland from its opressors or something like that. I did have a feeling that I was in Scotland. Instead I was on top of dormant vulcano Hum (Mostar) but the amount of green around me and the weather that supposedly builds character (or so the northern races claim but if you ask me heat builds character to, just in a different way) could have fooled anyone. What to say about my outfit? Leopard, faux leather, oversized sweater, winter boots...I was just trying to be warm and not be too dull.  I'm not sure how  successful I was with either.... I wasn't warm! On other note, I think...

I guess that the title of this post could also be..."yesterday in photos" or "rainy days." So, how was yesterday? Pretty much like today, rainy and cold...as you can see. At least I don't have to water my garden:) V aljda bi se ovaj post mogao zvati i jučerašnji dan u slikama (koji je usput rečeno sličan današnjem, hladan i kišovit) ili kišni dani...barem ne moram zalijevati vrt.

Today I took some photos while walking...with so much rain, everything is green... Remember those DIY with earrings(accessories)? I figured out that they can be worn as bracelets as well. What do you think? Danas sam šetala uz Neretvi i uslikala sam par fotografija, a kao što možete vidjeti sve je zeleno što nije čudno uz svu tu kišu...Sjećate se onih naušnica koje sam išarala? Skužila sam da se mogu nositi i kao narukvice. Što mislite?

I just love second hand shops. It is an easy way to be original because the chance is that you'll be the only one wearing that item of clothing. In addition, they're not limited to the "in stuff" but have a larger variety of choice. This blue blouse sure did come in handy lots of times...and you have seen it a few times on my blog...On other note, it's raining non stop here in Mostar so this is one of those "before the rain outfits".xoxo Dragi su mi dućani u kojima se kupuje roba iz druge ruke. Nekako je kao biti originalan kad to što tamo kupite vjerovatno nitko nema. Također, nisu ograničeni na ono što je trenutno u modi već je izbor veći što se tiče materijala i krojeva.... Ova plava bluza mi je često bila više nego dobrodošla, nekako lako ide u sve pa ste je već vidjeli nekoliko puta na blogu. Usput u Mostaru pada kiša pa je ovo naravno jedna starija kombinacija, prije kišnih dana...

Today I'm going to show you how you can make an old denim skirt a bit more fun. All you need is some material ( I chose a flowery pattern because I like it but anything goes really), a needle and a thread... You don't have to be neat, you don't have to use a sewing machine, you can sew it by hand in no time.  Just pick a material you like, cut out a shape you like and really you can attach it in a few minutes. I guess glowing it is also an option, but to me this just seems more simple... and really it is low cost DIY. (The chance is that you'll have everything you need at home). Anyway, this wasn't enough for me so I DIY-ed (is that even a verb?) something else...scroll down to see what... Danas ću vam pokazat jedan mali uradi sam projekt koji je stvarno jednostavan.
