Layering- today's outfit post...Slojevito odjevanje- današnje ruho

 With temperatures being what they are layering clothes seems to be the only way. At one moment it is sunny and in the next cloudy and really cold. I like the aesthetic aspect of layering, but what appeals to me most of all is the practical side of it.  While I'm outside I can put on my hoodie and zip up and inside I can take some of my numerous layers of clothes off. Just in the case you're wondering how many layers I'm wearing the answer is about four...and if that makes me look like I have a few pounds more I couldn't care less. I was actually going to write something about stripes today but taking in consideration that the stripes on my pants are so subtle that one can hardly notice them (especially on the photos) I'll just say that I love stripes. Now I can wear all the stripes that I want and look as if I'm following trends.







Zdravo. Zima je još tu, mjenja raspoloženja kao netko kome su joj dali pogrješne ljekove i ne vidim drugog rješenja osim slojevitog odjevanja. Estetski gledano, privlači me slojevito odjevanje, valjda ima neki dio mene koji viče više je bolje, a utječe li zima na to, gotovo sigurno, pa budimo iskreni jesam zimogrozna, u moj stilskom rječniku ne postoje traperice niskog struka i goli bubrezi, a volim da mi je toplo. Ovako kad se navučem, uvijek mogu skinuti jaknu i duks gdje sjednem na kavu ili odem u kupovinu, a nije mi hladno dok šetam. Htjela sam nešto reći i u prugicama, ali mislim da se ove na mojim hlačama i ne vide dobro, tako da taj pokušaj pruge na pruge baš i nije uspio. Kako se vama sviđa taj trend pruga? Meni jako.

Today I shall review The Island of Missing Trees by Elif Shafak. I was actually gifted this book. What a wonderful present it proved to be! Published in 2021, this postmodern  novel  follows two  story lines and uses framed narration.  The Island of Missing Trees  tells the life story of a Greek Turkish couple and their adolescent daughter.  This novel examines and explores a number of topics such as identity, migration, immigrant life, war trauma, memory, love and family. It's an ambitious novel that examines serious topics with due respect and sensitivity . I read it months ago, but I remember it vividly. Honestly, I cried a lot while reading this novel. It really moved me greatly. In fact, that is probably why it took me this long to finish this book review. With summer being in full spring, I caught myself thinking about iconic summer outfits. Do you know what came to my mind? WIWT: RED FLORAL BLOUSE, OZZ PANTS AND STARTAS SNEAKERS

Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers. Today we'll do a simple outfit post. What I wore today? Well, I wore three outfits actually (you'll see the other two soon enough).  This is what I was wearing this morning while we were driving through Neretva canon on our way back to Mostar. A travelling outfit, if you will. Once again, I shopped my closet for this outfit. I mixed and matched two sets to create this outfit. The red floral blouse is from a vintage floral set (worn here ), the tea green pants are from Ozz brand set (previously worn as a part of a set here  here ) and the striped sneakers are from iconic Croatian brand Startas (worn previously here ).  It was a very comfortable outfit, perfect for travelling! Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! Thank you for your lovely comments on my last  Goranci outfit & travel post .  Spring is here, but I'm back with another cold weather outfit, beanie and all. The arrival of Spring rarely means that it's time to ditch the coats altogether. Transitional fashion often entails layers and coats. I live in the Mediterranean region and if we're still wearing coats, I imagine you are as well. No need to forget about layering just because Spring is here.
