Hello readers. Welcome to another Fashion Illustration Friday Feature on this little digital place to call my own. I have created this weekly feature to share my fashion art and illustrations. Lately I have started posting my fashion illustrations on other days of the week as well, but this Friday art feature is here to stay. Fashion Illustration Friday has got a nice ring to it, doesn't it?  In this post, I will share two fashion illustrations in brown and black palette. Both of them were inspired by outfits I have recently worn. The medium for both of these fashion illustrations is watercolour pencils on paper. I have actually drawn these two black and brown outfits side by side in my sketchbook.  As you can see, I've stopped wearing all black mourning outfits and I'm starting to wear colour again. Hello! In this post, I shall share my illustration of a beautiful historical Croatian military uniform. What makes this uniform so unique is that it belongs to the only historical all female regiment of its kind.  This historical uniform dating back to mid 19th century was and is still worn by the Križevac city's maiden watch. As the name might imply, this city watch is an all female one. The maiden city guard uniform is recognized and protected as an European cultural treasure.  This is one historical uniform that I have been meaning to illustrate for ages! Hello readers!  It seems that fashion illustrations are taking over my blog. If you own original fashion art why not share it, right? Today I'll share with you two fashion illustrations inspired by Versace RTW Spring 2022 collection. I came across this Ready-to- Wear Versace collection while I was browsing Vogue . I was intrigued enough by this collection to want to illustrate it, so I set myself to work. I even watched the whole runaway show in order to get a better sense of the clothes as that can help with the illustrating ( Youtube link  in case you want to see the entire collection too).   I would say thus it was in many ways a typical Versace collection. One of the first things that comes to my mind when I think of Versace statement design is a bold form fitting dress.  Hello readers! Thank you for your comments on my last fashion illustration post. Since you liked my rendering of look 3 from Casablanca Ready-to-Wear Fall 2022 collection , you might be happy to learn that I decided to illustrate another look from this collection. Moreover, I illustrated it in the same elongated style (and on the same page in my sketchbook).  This time I opted for the fifth look (7/71) consisting from a matching (white/red/blue) bomber jacket and a mini skirt. The colour palette for this design look echoes the national (and flag) colours of many a European country. France's flag is blue, white and red. As this is a French brand, this colour palette might be more than a coincidence. I'm a lover of colour in general but this combination of colours is especially appealing. I particularly enjoy the bright tonalities of red and blue, for example Ferrari red and sky blue. Plus, it's nice to see so much white in a Fall collection. If you remember my last illustr...
