30 WAYS TO WEAR TROPICAL PRINT ART SANDALS

Image
Hello dear readers! Today I'll show you thirty ways to wear a pair of floral tropical print summer flat sandals. Wearing something thirty times is a great way to make that item sustainable. I always loved doing posts where I show you multiple ways to wear an item. As I read more about sustainable fashion I learned that 30 wears is the minimal we should strive for. Many bloggers I follow show multiple ways to wear something, for example Mica from Away from the Blue blog does 30 wears regularly.  I enjoy putting together these posts with multiple ways to wear something but my numbers are often arbitrary.  Sometimes the number is under 30, sometimes it's exactly 30 (for example with this pleated skirt ) and sometimes it's more than 30.  I think the main thing is to show how we don't always need to buy new things. Shopping our closets can be lots of fun.  These leather sandals from Art brand are the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. I  had another pa...

SUNSET IN VRBOSKA, STROLLING BEACH SOLINE

Image
Hello dear readers and fellow bloggers! Today I'm taking you to back to Vrboska on island Hvar. This place was my frequent destination back when I lived on island Hvar. I managed to visit it once this summer but haven't blogged about it yet. I have a lot of posts about island Hvar in the drafts, but my health issues set me a bit back with my blogging schedule so I'm making for it now. Never mind, I'm sure I'll manage to publish them in due time. I have a special bond with island Hvar.  I think you guys learned to love and appreciate island Hvar through my blog as well.  Anyhow, earlier I came across a summer outfit I haven't shared before. This floral dress was a summer purchase in Mana store. The occasion I dressed for was  a visit to Vrboska and Soline beach with my husband. This was an evening walk so we were able to enjoy the sunset. If you haven't experienced sunset in Vrboska, I can highly recommend it. This place has got one of the most beautiful suns...

ART UPDATE: PORTRAIT A GIRL WITH A RED SCARF

Image
Hello readers and fellow bloggers. How are you doing? Today I'm back with another art update. This time I will share an acrylic painting of a girl with a red scarf. I made this portrait  painting mainly  to practice portrait painting. I used my husband's photograph of myself as a reference but my priority  was not to achieve resemblence but rather to practice depicting skin. All in all, it was a good painting  practice.  I  didn't feel like following the photograph reference exactly so I changed up some things. The green scarf became a red scarf. Not that I don't like the reference, I might base a portrait painting on it some day. This time I was just using it as general inspiration, though.  Scroll down to see some more artistic portrait paintings I did in the past.   I was actually planning on posting this portrait painting as a part of my Friday Fashion Illustration series but I had issues with my connection yesterday so I'm posting ...
