Hi there! Here is an outfit I wore for a walk by the sea in Split , Croatia. All of the items in this outfit are from my closet, nothing is new.I have had this grey dress for years and like  Sheila  I love dresses with   pockets. There is a DIY element to it as well, because I painted flowers on this dress with textile paints.  The dress is a bit on the short side so I typically pair it with leggings.  That's what I did for this stroll by the seaside. Anyhow, I promised to write more about the vaccination process in Split. I will not offer any advice, as that is something only a medical professionals can do. I'm also not advocating for either option either. Generally speaking, I'm in favour of vaccinations because they save lives, but I understand people's divided opinions as there are many strange things about this pandemic.  Hello! Today I'll take you hiking. I will show you an outfit I wore for hiking on Planinica hill (one of the hills overlooking Mostar city). The views from this hills are nothing short of spectacular.  As readers of my blog will know, I used to visit this place pretty often. I plan to visit it more in the following months. It's been a while since our last visit, so I think some of these horses forgot our faces  (or weren't born yet) and anyway I didn't want to disturb them by taking photographs. Happy Friday! It's time for another FASHION ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY here on this little digital place to call my own. How are you doing lovely people? Are you glad it's Friday? I certainly am. This Friday I'll share some new sketches with you. Nothing fancy, just some pencil sketches.  I'm more focused on landscape paintings these days, but I always sneak in some time to practice portraits or sketch an outfit or two. If I had to describe my fashion illustration style, I would probably have a hard time doing so. I'm always experimenting and learning new things. I often experiment with different medias when it comes to fashion illustration. Moreover, I illustrate different things and subjects. From runaway looks to outfits worn by bloggers or friends , from editorials to outfits I wore myself, from my own designs to designer looks.  I think every opportunity to dress up should be seized. Carpe diem- seize the day. I like to dress up even when I'm at home or in the nature. Why should we wear nice clothes just for places someone deemed fancy? In my book, nature is by definition beautiful, far more beautiful than any place deemed fancy. So, it makes sense to dress the part. My home is a pretty fancy place in my book as well.  What does dressing up mean anyway? I suppose 'dressing up' means different things to us all, doesn't it? For some it's more about clothes, for others it's all about choosing the right make up, hairdo or accessories such as pretty jewellery or a posh bag. My personal definition of it is doing or wearing whatever makes you feel dressed up or beautiful. In my case, it's mostly wearing clothes or accessories that I genuinely enjoy and that make me feel like a Barbie of some sort. A nice hairdo doesn't hurt either. Yesterday the two of us got back from visiting Croatia. We managed to get a lot of things done, so I could say it was a successful trip. We both got vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine while we were in Croatia and we will go back for a second one in about a month.  If you want me to write about the vaccination in Croatia some more, let me know in the comments and I will cover this subject some time in the future. I have an immune illness so explaining my decision with regards to vaccination would take a lot of space and I would need to devote a special post to this subject. While we were in Croatia, I didn't manage to find time to work on my art, but I took four paintings with me.
