Urban and natural are words that seem to have the opposite meanings, antonyms really....terms that we usually separate. In doing so we often forget how often nature creeps into our urban dwellings. This blue eyed baby bird reminded me of it. Isn't it beautiful?  For once in the right time in the right place. I was so happy that I had my cam with me that I didn't mind putting down all the heavy grocery bags from the bazaar to take a photo. Urbano i prirodno su riječi za koje se čini da imaju posve različita značenja, antonimi....izrazi koje većinom odvajamo. Čineći to zaboravljamo kako se ponekad priroda uvuče u naša urbana mjesta. Ova mala ptičica plavih očiju me podsjetila na to. Zar nije predivna? Konačno sam se našla u pravo vrijeme na pravom mjestu. Bilo mi je tako drago što imam fotoaparat uz sebe i nije mi bilo nimalo teško spustiti teške vrećice s pazara da bi je uslikala.

inspirational collage/ kolaž inspiracije I do love the combo of blue and green. That is my favourite thing about this outfit. The jewelry  that I like so much (the diy necklace and Selena Kuhl bracelet) are actually the same as the in the last outfit because the shots were taken on the same (very busy) day. The wedges are made from cork and are the most comfortable shoes ever! I don't think there will be much outfit posts this month (it's hard for me to organize that but I might as well post this photos since they happened to be taken), so you're much more likely to see more of my illustrations and stuff like that. *The photographs are from my garden (it's been a while since I had time to go hiking or something like that) * The illustration represent a forest fairy ( I've used colour pencils, water colours and coffee to pain it) I've started writing a story about a forest fairy recently, it's in one of my little nephew's notebooks and I hope to finish it soon. There is also an entire series of stories about a little boy that lives in a circus that I have made up especially for my nephew and that I should really put on paper before I forget them or something (though he seems to remember them quite well) Anyhow, I guess that story is where I got the inspiration for this illustration. The only problem is that I forgot about the painting on the other side of the paper (painted with acrylic paints) so when I applied water colours and coffee above the colour pencils... the stains made their appearance...It's not a big deal as I will p...

For today vintage futuristic look....this illustration reminds me of vintage sf and that sort of things, so I guess there is where inspiration came from. Hope you like it...Once again I've used coffee for colouring in the same way water colours are used. Have a nice day! Not only when it comes to clothes, but pretty much applied to anything else. To know that I can make something by myself makes me happy just as this 'little place to call my own' does. Today I'm showing you an outfit with two DIY features. One is a green necklace you already had a chance of seeing here  and the other one is the pair of shoes on which I have drawn circles (because I love patterns and hence shoes that have them) The floral dress I'm wearing you already had a change of seeing in an outfit post   here and here and here . The dress itself has proved itself to be quite practical, it requires no ironing and can be worn in all seasons (if you layer it properly). pencil / olovka * The drawning is fairly recent and for some reason I find this face really comforting . I like to think of myself as someone who understands that the world is not black and white. The older I get, the more complex and complicated this society we live in seems to be. I try not to judge too harshly and to always put things in prospective. Life has taught me that things are often not what they seem. Therefore, I would describe myself as someone who is cautious when it comes to labeling things and people. That wouldn't be an entirely correct description I'm adraid.  You see, I was proven wrong on a more than a few instances when I had realized that I'm not as open minded as I believed myself to be.
