ALL BLACK OUTFITS FOR STROLLING MOSTAR CITY

Image
Hello readers! How are you doing? I've just finished uploading some of my new designs to my shop and now I'm ready to wrap this pre-written post up and share it with you. I do sometimes prepare and write my posts in advance (for example during the weekend). In this post, I shall share two more casual chic outfits  I wore for strolling Mostar city. Speaking of that, Mostar is the real star of this post. In fact, I'll share photographs of Mostar old city centre and famous bridge.  I organized them in collages so hopefully this post won't take long to load. You see, I think of everything (at least sometimes!).  All of these photographs were taken in Mostar city (on two different days). As you can see, these two all black  outfits are all about being comfortable and warm. I've been sharing mostly casual outfits lately because that is what I wore for hiking and walking.  Available for sale  HERE THE STORY OF MY OUTFITS- HOW I WORE THESE FASHION ITEMS BEFORE?...

ALL BLACK WINTER OUTFIT: FAUX FUR , LEATHER AND RUFFLES

Image
Hello! In this post, I will show you an all black winter outfit. This hiking styling is all about faux fur, real leather and ruffles- my key winter items.  Wearing faux fur and leather is  a great way to stay warm on a windy and cold winter day. I do like to wear fake fur, it's great for keeping warm in winter. The faux fur in this outfit is this stole I've had for years and reach for every winter- especially on those windy days. When it comes to leather, there are two leather items in this outfit: a leather jacket and a pair of Dr. Martens boots. Leather boots are always my number one choice in winter for obvious reasons. Similarly, one doesn't have to explain why a leather jacket is a good choice. If you don't wear real leather, than faux leather is a good alternative. What about ruffled items? One thing I love about ruffles it that they add dimension to an outfit. This is especially useful if you are wearing all black. By wearing black ruffled items you can create a...

VISIT BUNICA RECREATIONAL AREA WITH ME! WINTER 2022

Image
Hello readers. Today we are visiting Buna recreational area again. We hiking by Bunica river. Only a short drive from Mostar, this green oasis proved to be (once again) a wonderful destination for a winter walk. With my iron levels still being low, I don't have the energy for long hikes but I do enjoy those short ones. It is so lovely being out and about, breathing the fresh air.  There are many benefits of going for a walk in the nature, I wrote about some of them  HERE . While we were walking around, we didn't meet anyone. You could say that we had the place for ourselves. I was amazed by the blue green tonalities of river Bunica. The photographs turned out rather nice, it must be because of that wonderful light.  Not to mention anything of this lovely location. I do enjoy taking photographs in nature. Fortunately, there are a lot of stunning green locations where I live. Sure, after a while they are bound to get a bit repetitive but I know you guys don't mind.  I ...

FASHION ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY: A VINTAGE LEATHER JACKET

Image
It's time or another Fashion Illustration Friday. If you like my fashion illustrations, you're in the right place. I've started this regular feature on my blog in 2013  so basically almost a decade ago. Over the years I've shared a fair number of my fashion illustrations. I've always enjoyed making fashion illustrations and had some really fun experiences thanks to this little hobby of mine. I'm happy that fashion illustration is a part of my blog journey. In fact, I think opening and having a fashion blog is what inspired me to experiment with my fashion illustration style- and well my art style in general.   Today I'll share with you a single fashion illustration. I actually sketched this one today. As you may see, I illustrated one of my own outfits. I really enjoyed wearing this rock chic outfit back in January and I wore a similar version of it in February as well.  Scroll bellow for more information. 10 STYLE LESSONS LEARNED FROM MARIA CALLAS

Image
In this post, we shall examine Maria Callas' style secrets. Maria Callas was a legendary opera signer, nicknamed 'La Divina'. Considered one of the most important and renowned opera singers of the twentieth century, Maria Callas's artistic and style legacy continues to inspire. Her stage life was relatively short, but her influence on opera was enormous. Maria Callas died in her early fifties from a heart attack,  after battling dermatomyosis (a rare illness that affects the muscles) for years. CALLAS COULD PERHAPS BE BEST DESCRIBED AS AN ARTIST OF THE WORLD  We could perhaps describe Callas as a citizen of the world. This Greek American singer was celebrated not only in her native countries (USA & Greece), but in Italy, France and England. Callas spoke four languages fluently. Maria Callas was intelligent, eloquent and well spoken.  During her life, she was considered a style icon. It is her style that we shall examine in this post.  I would describe her st...
