BOOK REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATION: FIMA, A NOVEL BY AMOS OZ

Image
EN Hello there lovely readers or fellow bloggers! Today I'm back with a book review and a reading recommendation. We'll talk about a novel  Fima written by Amoz Oz and published in 1991. Now, this author isn't new to me, in fact I've been a fan of his for years. I must have been public about it because I remember how when Amoz Oz died two years ago, I got texted about it. Yes, I was quite sad as you can imagine, as sad as when Umberto Eco died four years ago. There is something infinitely sad about a passing of one's favourite author. I'm sure fellow bookworms will understand.  When you read a certain number of books by the same author, it can seem like you've really looked into their soul. Well, let's get to reviewing this novel, shall we?

FASHION ILLUSTRATION (OIL PASTELS): JOHANNA ORTIZ SPRING 2021 READY TO WEAR

Image
Hello dear readers, how are you? I'm fine, working hard on some new art projects. Today I'll share a new fashion illustration of mine inspired by a statement black dress ( look #5) from  Johanna Ortiz Spring 2021 Ready to Wear collection.   The dress really caught my eye but it is hardly the only eye-catching dress in this collection. On overall, Johanna's Spring collection is stunning and if you want to see more look it up (that's what the link is for). The medium for this illustration is oil pastels on mixed media paper. The oil pastels are  from art brand Sonet  (not sponsored).  It's been a whole since I used my oil pastels to make a fashion illustration. If I remember correctly it was back in 2019 when I used oil pastels to illustrate one of Valentino's designs . Not many people use oil pastels to make fashion illustrations, but I guess I'm more adventurous  than most. 20 WAYS TO STYLE A BLUE DENIM SKIRT

Image
Today I'm going to show you 20 ways to style a blue denim skirt. As you might know, shopping one's closet is a great way to do sustainable fashion. This denim skirt is from Amadeus, a Croatian denim brand I love. I've had this denim skirt for years. It's my one of my favourite denim skirts, I wear it in all seasons. I like everything about it really, the colour, the cut, the soft denim itself. I already did 14 ways to wear this skirt , so today I'll show you additional six ways to wear it. Don't worry this post won't be too long. I created collages so you can scroll down more quickly. All the links in this post lead to my older posts (showing you how I wore some clothing item before). #1, #2, #3 , #4 Two of the outfits in this collage (the first two) are new looks I wore fairly recently, the other two are a bit older.  OUTFIT IDEA #1 A CAMEL COAT AND HEELED BOOTS , BURGUNDY BAG AND BLACK LEGGINGS. I wore this outfit last week, I definitely see myself repeat...
