Happy first day of Autumn everyone! I hope you had a fantastic start of week and new season. I have another reading update to share with you. I read a lot and I post my reading update pretty regularly (for example  here , here , here , here and here ). Today I'll review three books. Godmakers by Frank Herbert, The People of Seldwyla by Gottfriend Keller  and Resistance by Anita Shreve. Two of these authors are new to me (Keller and Shreve) and one is very familiar (Frank Herbert). Today I'll show you seven ways to style a button up dress. I've had this dress for years and there is a whole story behind it. I bought it on sale quite a few years ago when fashion house Uzor (from Split) was closing down. This beautiful dress caught my eye right away and I loved it even more when the saleslady told me it was one of a kind. Only one such dress was made by Uzor fashion house and as you can imagine I wanted to be the one to own it. Moreover, the salesladies in the shop were in agreement that it looks like it was made for me, so I took their advice and bought it. I was quite fond of this fashion house and very sorry to see them close down their shop. They used to sew for airport Split and they custom made my very first uniform. No summer is complete without a visit to nature park Hutovo Blato. This wetland nature park is such a gorgeous wildlife oasis. Perfect for birdwatchers and nature lovers. Hutovo Blato happens to be one of my favourite destinations in Herzegovina. I'm happy that I managed to pay it another visit before the end of summer. Today I'll show you seven ways  to wear a black maxi dress. This beautiful vintage dress was gifted to me by a family member. I don't own many solid black maxi dresses (probably because I'm addicted to bold prints and colours). I do own quite a few little black dress (because a LBD is such a classical piece) but not that many black ones in maxi length. In fact, I believe this is the only plain black maxi dress I own. I find it really easy to style. I treat this maxi as a neutral piece and I wear it all year round. I actually added embroidery to it (it's a hobby of mine) but the embroidery detail isn't that big (for now) so I tend to style it as a plain black dress. By that I mean that I like to have fun with accessories when I wear this dress. I often wear it with statement necklaces I made myself or similar eye-catching accessories.
