Time for another Friday Fashion Illustration. Yes, it's Friday and I have a fresh new fashion drawing I made especially for this feature (that will hopefully become a super regular one on the blog). I've spent quite a lot of time drawing this fashion illustration one today, let me tell you that. As you can see, it depicts a beautiful lady wearing an oversize hat, the kind that is very trendy this summer. Should I name her? Let's name her Lucy. So, Lucy is also wearing an oversized purple blouse and a maxi blue dress. Not only is Lucy very comfortable in her oversized romantic styling but she is protected from the sun by a fabulous hat. What more could a gal want, right? In fact, Lucy is feeling quite confident and self-contend. As the title indicates, today I'll show you two ways to style a red top/blouse with flared sleeves. As you might know, I have a soft spot for statement sleeves. This is one trend that I can't get enough of.  Drama sleeves are such an easy way to jazzy up an outfit. Flared sleeves in particular can be such a wonderful option for summer because they're often breezy and light. No wonder I've been wearing this flare sleeved top a lot lately. Moreover, scarlet red is such a fun colour to wear in the summer. If you want to try a more bolder shade of red, summer is a great time to do it. Both of my outfit proposals feature a flared top paired with a skirt. In the first outfit I paired this red top with a mini skirt and in the second I paired it with a maxi gypsy skirt. I kept the colours pretty simple in my first look, opting to pair a red top with a neutral grey mini skirt. However, in the second I decided to contrast colours. Today I'll share with you a new painting of mine. The subject of this painting is a church of saint George in Gdinj . This church dates back to the sixteen century and it is build in the Renaissance-Baroque style. It is often called the old church by the residents of Gdinj village (located on island Hvar). There is another church in Gdinj village, the one we call the new church, a fact that sometimes makes me giggle because 'the new church' is more than a hundred years old, just not quite old as this one. I'm afraid that sometimes in Croatia we take history for granted, just because we're surrounded by so much of it. I suppose this is true for other European countries as well. It is easy to get spoiled when you're surrounded by so many historical buildings and I feel we Europeans sometimes take them for granted. Being a  history lover, I tend to take notice of historical buildings but it often happens that I miss out on something. It is impossible to keep track...
