 Hello! Today I'm back with another post in my FRIDAY FASHION ILLUSTRATION feature. My last post was an art update . In this post I'll share more of my watercolour pencil sketches. Today's post will be a bit shorter (in terms of text) than usual because I don't have the energy to write a long post. For the last six months or so, my Chron illness has been giving me hell again. I don't see a point about writing about it every day, but yeah it looks like it's not getting better anytime soon. Today I have spent most of the day in bed. The pain killers only help somewhat, the pain is quite hard to handle at times. There has been a definite increase in difficult days (like this one) lately and at the worst possible time too.  Hello! Today I'm back with an art update. In this post I will share four female portraits. This year I was mostly focused on landscape (seascape) paintings, but recently I have done some portraits and fashion illustrations. You may remember that I have shared some of my new fashion illustrations  fairly recently. I was fun to get back to illustrating with watercolour pencils, so I also sketched some portraits. I did use reference (and old DM catalogue) for some of these, but it's mostly my imagination. I did these portraits just for practice, so I'm not sure what exactly I will do with them. Maybe gift them to someone or just store them in some folder, I really don't know. The medium for all of them is watercolour pencils on paper (art supplies used the same as in my last art post). Let's me first share some art tips of mine with you really quickly and then we'll have a look at these quick watercolour portrait sketches. Today I'll share a review for Ward No. 6 ( Палата № 6)  a short story by Anton Chekhov. First published in 1892, this story is still relevant. It criticizes society (especially its treatment of mentally ill) through observing one doctor's existential crisis. While telling a story of one doctor's burnout, Ward No.6 opens many interesting questions about human suffering and the meaning of life. While I was in Split, I stumbled across an Italian edition of this story in a that antique/second hand bookshop I told you about, so I bought it.  Short stories are a great choice whenever you're pressed for time. I have already read this story in Croatian a couple of times. Possibly I had also listened to some of the  Russian audio-versions on YouTube  at some point, but I'm not certain.
