Hello, darlings! How have you been? I finally found some time to sit down and write this bookish post. I'll share some summer outfits with you today, but mostly I'll talk books. Yes, it's time for another reading and rereading update! Summer is such a perfect time to read, isn't it? I mean, don't get me wrong, I love to read all year around, but I still see summer as the ideal reading time. I wonder why is it so? Maybe it is somewhat on a subconscious level, seeing all those images of people reading on the beach.  Is it because summer is the traditional 'reading time' for many people? Is it because most people go on their vacation in the summer? Is it because most people use vacation time to catch up on reading? Is it the bookworm in me getting excited getting excited about making the most out of the 'reading season'? Is it the joy of reading in the open? As promised, I'm back with another travel post about Split city. What is summer without beach sunsets? What is the best way to experience sunset in Split city? Personally, I would always suggest a sunset with a sea view . If you ask me, when it comes to sunsets - the beach is the place to be. Nothing quite tops a beach sunset, does it? Split city, the cultural and administrative centre of Dalmatia region is one of the most popular European tourist destinations. This beautiful city, nicknamed the pearl of the sea, is a fascinating mix of the old and the new. Originally build as a summer residence for an ancient Roman emperor Diocletian, this historical city has had an eventful and interesting history but nowadays Split is very much a modern town and one that is full of life. Yesterday I tore myself away from the laptop to make a new fashion illustration. It's been a while since I made my last fashion illustration. I've been spending an insane amount of time behind the screen lately (who ever said blogging is easy, right?) working on new blog posts. At some point yesterday, I decided to get up, grab some watercolour pencils and paint a new fashion illustration. Friday Fashion Illustration is not the most regular feature on my blog, but this summer at least I can try to change that. While I was working on my new fashion illustration, I test drove watercolour pencils from Steadler  brand (not sponsored). It's been ages since I last used watercolour pencils.
