It's been a while since I last posted my illustrations, so here we go. All of these illustrations were inspired by The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov (medium is watercolours).  Last month in this  post ,  I mentioned just how much I loved this book. I didn't write a review for this one yet, but when I do I will probably post in on my literature blog. Yes, I actually have another blog where I post book reviews. I plan to post book recommendations here, but I think it is best that I keep my book reviews on another blog because they are bound to be quite long. Last book I reviewed there was A Pale View of Hills by Kazuo Ishiguro (you can read it  here ). Hello dear readers! We'll start this photography and travel post with a quote.  'I' do not matter. No word matters. But man forgets reality and remembers words. There is little justice, if any, to be found on the face of the Earth. Injustice, however, is ever present. We witness it at every corner, we sense it with the very core of our being. Suffering is a norm not an exception. However, there is hope. I do believe that. Where there is love, there is hope....and love is a fact for me, as it is for anyone who has had it in its experience. There is no need for me to doubt that love is a reality to be experienced. There are people in this world who deserve our love and our admiration...and if nothing else, that's a good reason to live. It is good enough for me. It is reason enough to smile. In spite of everything. In spite of myself. Sometimes smile comes on its own and sometimes we must invite it.
