Sometimes a smile is a decision / Osmijeh je ponekad odluka

There is little justice, if any, to be found on the face of the Earth. Injustice, however, is ever present. We witness it at every corner, we sense it with the very core of our being. Suffering is a norm not an exception. However, there is hope. I do believe that. Where there is love, there is hope....and love is a fact for me, as it is for anyone who has had it in its experience. There is no need for me to doubt that love is a reality to be experienced. There are people in this world who deserve our love and our admiration...and if nothing else, that's a good reason to live. It is good enough for me. It is reason enough to smile. In spite of everything. In spite of myself. Sometimes smile comes on its own and sometimes we must invite it. In this latter case, a smile is a decision. In our human language, perhaps it is best expressed with this sentence: 'I hope'.

No, ipak postoji nada. Vjerujem u to. Postoje ljudi u ovom svijetu koji zaslužuju našu ljubav i divljenje...i ako zbog ničega drugoga onda zbog toga vrijedi živjeti. To je za mene dovoljno dobar razlog. To je razlog dovoljan za osmijeh. Unatoč svemu. Unatoč sebi. Ponekad osmijeh dolazi sam, a ponekad ga moramo pozvati.

Ljubav i jeste smisao svega.

  29. That is so true about the smile. I visited a dear, dear friend today in hospital who has suddenly discovered she has cancer and only has weeks to live. My heart was breaking but I chose to smile and chat and try and keep perky for her.Xx

  30. I had to take a peek to see the difference between the current post and this one. Cute scarf! I love the size and color and most importantly how you featured it. Very chic around your neck and very playful too. It's one accessory I feel like I dont use a lot even in the cold months. You wear it very well.

I totally agree that love is everything and we must make a conscious decision to be happy. If not all the time at least most of the time. There is so much to be thankful and happy about.

    You look gorgeous!!!

3 AMAZING CITIES TO VISIT IN HERZEGOVINA BESIDES MOSTAR

My last post was about beautiful historical town Mostar, but today I want to show you other amazing cities in the region of Herzegovina. You guys know how much I treasure Mostar and how important it is to me. Mostar is the largest and best known city in Herzegovina, the cultural and administrative centre of this region you might say. Nevertheless, that doesn't mean that other cities don't deserve to be on your tourist radar as well. Honestly, one of the things that amazes me about Herzegovina is the diversity of its cities. Today I'll present three lovely cities to you: Ljubuški, Čapljina and Široki Brijeg. This is by no means a complete list. Another thing worth pointing out is that a lot of places  that get called cities, but in reality there are not that many cities in the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina (only around 20). Popular tourist destinations such as Blagaj and Međugorje are often called cities while in fact they do not have a status of a city.

VISIT OLD CITY CENTRE AND OLD BRIDGE IN MOSTAR WITH ME!

Today I will take you on a virtual walk through Mostar city, more specifically through the old part of the town. Whether you're a history lover or not, the historical part of Mostar city will surely impress you. There is a reason why this place is so popular. It's an utterly beautiful area and it's extremely photogenic. I'm very excited I'll be sharing it with you today. Moreover, I'm going to give you some outfit tips for sightseeing the old bridge and the old city. As some of you know, I'm currently based in Mostar. One the benefits of being Mostar based is that the gorgeous historical centre is always available to me (Click here to see my most recent blog post shot at old bridge in Mostar) and that means I can give you good insider tips too.
These photographs were all taken last Sunday when we decided to go for a walk through the old city after mass. We walked from the Saint Peter and Paul church and monastery to the old bridge, through the old town and…

KATE KASIN LONG SEQUIN DRESS (REVIEW AND STYLING TIPS)

Hi everyone! Who else loves sequined dresses? If you're into the metallic dress trend, you might find this post interesting. As the title indicates, today I'll be reviewing a gold Kate Kasin sequined maxi dress. I'm also going to give you some tips on rocking sequined dresses. Firstly, it is good to remember there is a metallic shade for every skin tone and undertone. The same rules we use for choosing the right jewellery for our skin tone can be applied to sequined and metallic items as well. Generally speaking, silver items are recommended for colder skin undertones and gold items for warmer ones. However, there are exceptions. Not all gold tones are the same. For example, rose gold is said to look particularly beautiful on fair skin ladies. This dress happens to come in different colours and shades (rose gold, gold, black, red, silver, navy blue and turquoise). Being olive skinned and warm toned myself, I opted for a gold version of this dress. What do you think? Does …
