DIY tee/ dorađena majica

This DIY tee you had a chance of seeing before. I bought it in one store and I decided to cover up the logo with beads...maybe because I hate logos? I wouldn't go that far, but I will say that I don't want to be a walking commercial. Let's get back to the beads...I just sewed them in, I don't like to glue things because that in my experience always ends up looking messy (or I'm just clumsy). I've had this tee for years so I can say that the classical method (just sewing beads on shirts, tee-s, etc)works for me. Have you ever attempted a similar DIY? What are your experiences?

Now, about the location in case anyone is interested...You had the chance of seeing it before as well. This is a hill near Mostar and you can actually see the airport Mostar behind me in the second photograph.

Ovu majicu ste imali prilike vidjeti prije.

Ukoliko ikoga zanima lokacija, to je brdo Planinica kraj Mostara, mogli ste ga često vidjeti dosada, a ako bolje pogledate drugu fotografiju možete vidjeti zračnu luku u pozadini.

  10. Nice idea. Yeah, I have a similar experience. Once I was gifted a hand bag at a store for a purchase, with a big logo on it. I liked the bag but hated the branding and I stuck rhinestones all over it!!! Lolz!!! You can see that in the DIY posts of my blog!

  12. Dearest Ivana, first: pink fits your really! And second: the idea was indeed good to pimp up your shirt with the beads! And I have the same opinion like you - glue mostly doesn´t work really, sewing is mostly the better decision :)

Wish you a happy new week!

WHAT DRESS TO CHOOSE THIS AUTUMN? SPECIAL OCCASION OUTFIT IDEAS

As I mentioned in one of my last post, I'm already thinking about what I might wear for all those festive occasions that are coming up. Autumn and Winter both have its fair share of festivities. Our social calendar can be quite busy this time of year with all the meetings, events, festivities, celebrations, family and work parties. Some of these social occasions come with a black tie dress code, so I decided to prepare some outfit ideas.  A bit of formal wear inspiration for  my readers. All of these photographs were taken the day before yesterday. We're enjoying a rather warm Autumn in Herzegovina but these outfits I'm sharing can be easily be adapted for colder weather. Just throw a warm coat or a blazer over them, and that would be that.  That's what I plan to do once it gets colder. Anyhow, all four dresses I'll be sharing with you today are from Rosegal. This is my second collaboration with this site, if you want you can have a look at my first one here. With…

How To Style A Grey Sweater Dress in Autumn? Outfit Proposal of the Day

HOW TO STYLE GREY FOR AUTUMN/WINTER?
I was just thinking how grey doesn't always get the credit it deserves. Sure, there are many enthusiasts of the colour grey, but even among those of us who like grey, there are many lessons to be learned. One of the mistakes we make when styling grey items is to forget that grey does come in so many shades. It's kind of obvious, but it's easy to focus on the classical grey tones and forget to explore this colour in all its complexity. Not to mention that styling the lighter shades of grey can be a great way to refresh our autumn/winter wardrobe. Sometimes it does seem to me that grey is one of the most underestimated colours out there. However, that all might change as grey has been trending a lot lately. For example, you can have a look at some of my runaways picks bellow.
Neutral outfits composed of lighter shades are a great way to stay away from the typically dark outfit combos. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with dark …

Fashion Illustration Friday: Inspired by Colours of Autum

Time for another Fashion Illustration Friday talk. We'll talk autumn and share some new autumn inspired fashion illustrations & outfits. Autumn is a season with one of the most beautiful colour palettes. Just think about all those gorgeous gold and red leaves! Even the fruits of Autumn are visually stunning, for example the delicious and juicy fruits such as pomegranates and grapes. With so much to appeal to our senses, it's hard not to be appreciative of autumn. It is a stunning season indeed, so small wonder I was inspired to create some fashion art. AUTUMN COLOUR COMBOS TO CONSIDER
Besides enjoying the colours of autumn, I sure love wearing colour in autumn, and that's what I'll write about today. Whether we're talking about accessories or clothes, a bit of colour can take us a long way. Here are some illustrated & photographed colour combos to consider.
