This wonderful place (Goranci, BIH) has been the  location of the first outfit post this year (that I will post some other time.) For today, just nature photography. Have a lovely sunday! ( un parco in un villaggio vicino a Mostar) Ovo divno mjesto je lokacija prvog outfit posta ove godine (kojeg ću objaviti neki drugi put). Za danas, samo opuštanje i slike prirode. Po prvi put me zanima etimologija riječi nedjelja. (ne djelovati možda, podrijetla riječi u slavenskim jezicima su uvijek zanimljiva). Uživajte u slobodnom danu!

Here are some of the fashion illustrations that I have made yesterday.   No matter how much time I repeat that I'm more a summer person, the truth is that I adore winter clothes (and winter  fashion naturally). I love coats, long and short, oversize and tailored, black and colourful...(and don't get me started on puffers jackets, I've adored them since they fist appeared.)      Evo neke od jučerašnjih modnih ilustracija. I'm always amazed by the creativity of certain people. You will have a chance to read  about one of them as I'm posting an interview with a very talented young lady from  http://www.maryloucinnamon.com . The clothes she makes are so beautiful and unique and the speed with which she makes them is truly remarkable. (When it came to picking the photographs for this post, it wasn't easy because I really like all the clothes she creates.) http://www.maryloucinnamon.com/ Who taught you how to sew? How long have you been doing it?  My mum was the first person who introduced me in the wonderful world of dressmaking as she was a seamstress when she was younger, but I think the most it´s learning by doing and there are still many different techniques and things I still have to try or improve. I made many clothes by myself when I was a young teenager but stopped then and started again with it when I was 25, so I can´t exactly tell how long I have been sewing. http://www.ma...

I have taken these photographs about two years ago when it has snowed in Mostar (heavily.) Snow is not a regular occurrence there, nor is it in Split, which only makes it more special when it happens. It hasn't snowed this year (yet), but who knows? Seeing these beautiful images one almost wouldn't complain if it did. These photographs look so peaceful and beautiful, but I think it has to do with the location then with my photography skills. When the air is so clear (as it is after snow), it's not exactly hard to take a pretty pic. I'm happy to have taken that walk two years ago and took this photos, even if I almost ended up buried in the snow (which was entirely due to my inexperience with it). I'm always curious about how the first day of the new year will turn out. Perhaps I'm a bit superstitious and I'm trying to read into my future, an effort which is futile for the future is impossible to guess and for the better I'm sure. If we did indeed know the future, our life would become a tramp, as many a literary character has found out. Nevertheless, it is hard to resist certain expectation of this day. I haven't made any New Year's resolutions, as I'm in that period of life when everything seems uncertain. Another thing that is hard to avoid is trying to reflect on (and sometimes summarize) the previous year. This year I have nothing to summarize, time no longer feels so linear. There are times when what is and what has been is connected in ways that is hard to separate. Still, there is something fresh about the beginning of a new year. It's like a blank paper that needs to be filled. Another chapter. Or the first chapter of a new story? ...

 Happy New Year everyone! Now is the time of the lists. Every fashion magazine is making one so why shouldn't I? I've decided to look for what has inspired me in the world of fashion bloggers. Not to overload your visual perception with an infinite number of photographs, I've decided to limit myself to 13 looks to represent the year 2013 (and to make it easier for myself because there are so many outfits that I like). In addition, I choose daytime looks,  some are a little more dressed up, some more casual, but they are what I would call "real outfits", something you could actually wear. When it comes to fashion blogs, I like both the everyday looks and the more unusual (theatrical) ones but for this little reflection of the year that is soon to leave us, I chose the former.
