Inspired by...Nadahnuta s....Ivana

Today's illustration is inspired by Ivana from bambolai blog (check out her blog here).  I placed the video first because....You might not believe this, but I actually managed to misplace this illustration. So, the only place where you can see the final version (for now at least) is the video I've shared. I've been trying to find it for two days and no luck so far. That doesn't mean that today all you will get to see is this video. I will also share this photograph from my Instagram profile but that's not the final version. The final version is somewhere in my home, but where exactly I have no idea. I hope I will manage to find it before I do my annual recap of fashion illustrations inspired by fashion bloggers ( I'm really looking forward to that one). Are you?

Današnja ilustracija je nadahnuta s Ivanom s bloga bambolai (svratite to njenoga bloga tu). A vi?

  1. You did a great job of capturing this pretty fall look. With all the illustration you make, it's understandable that you misplaced the final piece. I bet it will turn up when you least expect it ;p

    1. yes, I made quite a few illustrations lately, no wonder I misplaced one.

  2. Great illustration! I hope you find it!

  6. Uživala sam u videu, baš mi je interesantno gledati kako teče proces stvaranja ilustracije. Hehehe, naći će se negde original, ko zna gde se zaturio među stvarima :-)
Hvala još jednom na divnom gestu Ivanice, cmok

  8. Nadam se da ćeš je naći ili da si je već našla u međuvremenu. Ta Ivanina kombinacija i slika su krajnje isnpirativne. Još jednom sam uživala u videu. Stvarno mi je fascinantan svaki potez četkicom :)

All your comments mean a lot to me, even the criticism. Naravno da mi puno znači što ste uzeli vrijeme da nešto napišete, pa makar to bila i kritika. Per me le vostre parole sono sempre preziose anche quando si tratta di critiche.

Is anything as lovely as a sunny spring day? I missed reading outdoors, I can tell you that. Sitting on a bench on a nice spring day, with a nice book in one's lap, now that has to be one of the greatest pleasures in life. Speaking of reading, March has been a good reading month so far. As loyal I am to my favourite writers, I also love to discover new ones. I try to read at least one new author every month. This March I read two American authors for the first time: Kurt Vonnegut and John Green. Naturally I heard about them before. Both of them are quite well know, but this March marked my first introduction to these two. They are not the only 'new' writers I tried this month, but more about that some other time. Earlier this month, I read Kurt's Player Piano and Green's Fault in Our Stars. I liked Player Piano much more that Fault in Our Stars but I was kind of expecting that. I'm happy I read both, though. It is just that Kurt's writing is more my cup of…

Hello my dear readers! Today I'm back with another post from Makarska city, a very popular coastal touristic destination in Croatia. If you remember, I went to Makarska on the first of March to visit a family member. I went back again last Friday (exactly a week ago) and the weather was dreamy. We had a great time, we sure did.  In this first photograph, you can see me standing in front of Franciscan monastery and church of Blessed Virgin. I will write a more about this monastery some other time, and today I'll show you a bit more of Makarska city itself and show some of its many attractions (like the main city square and the church of Saint Mark the Evangelist). If you haven't seen it yet, feel free to check out my recent post about Makarska. You can also check out this old Makarska travel post (dating to March, 2016). As you can see, I've been to Makarska a few times. Not nearly enough, if you ask me. It is a beautiful city and I think I even prefer it in spring sea…

January and February have both been quite eventful months for me. A mix of good and the bad you might say, but all in all I can't complain. After ten long years I'm finally in remission, so that's amazing news. Fingers crossed things stay that way. I can't tell you how relived and happy I am to be in remission. I lost all hope of it (to tell you the truth) but then when I didn't even think about it, it happened. That's life, isn't it? You never know what the tomorrow might bring. Both good and the bad. I suppose that's the fun in living- not knowing. I know  it might seem a bit late, sharing January and February highlights as late as mid March, but I finally found some time to put this post together, so let's do it. Scroll down to see some of my January and February highlights.

Most of the trips I took this January were to areas located in vicinity of Mostar city (where I'm still based) but in February I visited Croatia. I&…
